JNTUH- A college for everyone

The curriculum is parallel with what is being taught in the whole country. The college provide new courses which are not found in all the universities. It prapares us well enough to get a job. But teachers can be more interactive during practical sessions and more practical based curriculum can be applied. Exams are taken after every 5 months for 70 marks and mid exams after two months of 30 marks with the difficulty being medium.

Companies like goldman sachs , oracle, tcs, etc provides internship to students based on their knowledge and stipend ranges from 10000-100000. There are minor and major projects in 6&8th sem respectively.

In 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like oracle, worley, emerson, wipro, tcs, itc, etc come for placements. Almost all the students from cse branch are offered a placement. Average package for last year was 7-8 lpa and highest package being 40 lpa off campus. Including all departments 60-70% students are placed. Ill most probably opt for job after getting the degree.

Tution fee for local students is around 30k per annum . There has not been any price hike or irregularities in the fee structure. You can complete your B.tech in 200000 but it is different for international students. PMSSS scolarship is provided to students from j&k whereas ICCR scholarship is provided to intl students. College itself does not provide any scolarships as fees is only 35,000 as i know. I havent been involved in any campus employment.

There is a fest organized in college anually but all departments with names of QUEST and others. They are typically held around April. All sorts of books required for curriculum is available in the library. The classrooms are old but it is provided with projectors. All sorts of sports can be played in the college and tournamnets are organised by students themselves

Room is provided with a bed, table, small cupboard and fans. There are common bathrooms in every floor. Meal is alright somedays its average somedays it is bad. Hostel is provided at the time of admission. We can stay in JNTU,kukkatpally area if we rented a room or pg.

We can apply for any of the courses and branches are provided on the basis of rank. Application form, fees and dates can be found on the official website of the college. There are reservations for differently abled students and also some j&k quotas along with ICCR for intl students. EAMCET exam is taken every year for the admission.
