Course Curriculum Overview

It's nice. The course objectives are laid out clear and conveyed properly. And the syllabus is arranged properly to fulfill all the objectives in the right order. However, it's not sufficiently application-based.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are given in the college from second year. Internship companies are virtusa, Amazon, Adobe, etc.., If we get good cgpa then we will get good opportunities for internship provided from the college.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Highest package offered is 55 lacks per annum. Average package offered is 13 lakhs per annum. Nearly 75 percent students are getting placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure of this college is nearly 70000 per semester. The complete cost of my education is 194000 per year. There are no scholarship for me as I belongs to general category. There are scholarships for students having less than 2.5 lakh earnings per year.

Campus Life

The main fests in the college are eclectica which held in January and samar in December and aavartan. There are sufficient books available in library. The facilities and technological provisions within the classroom are good.

Hostel Facilities

The facilities provided in the hostel are bed, almarah, chair, study table, fan. Meal quality is good. The registration for hostel is very easy. At the time of admission only, they gave one paper and in that we have filled our details.

Hostel Fee: INR 54000 per year

Admission

The eligibility of the course was simple, jee mains along with 75 percent in +2 exams in maths, physics, and chemistry. The process of admission was smooth. However, it was long and several desks should have been more. The verification of documents was quick, easy, and strict. There are no merit scholarships at the time of admission. However, it can be availed later on. Reservations are available for SC, ST, PWD, General EWS, and OBC. There is fee remission based on income too. There are two exams every semester and the difficulty in the first year is rather easy.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are decent, average package is somewhere around 10-11 LPA and lowest around 4 LPA where are the highest is around 65 LPA. around 70% of students get placed through campus placement. As this is an NIT, there are many intership opportunity and stipend varis from 10,000-35,000 per month. Companies like Adobe, AMD, Intel, Microsoft provide intership opportunities in this college and over 20% students get properly paid internships

Placement Experience:

Collage provides the best placements in the whole chattishgar, it is one of the few collages in the whole country which have a dedicated drone learning ecosystem. In the 2020-2024 session averge placement is around 11.6 LPA, with the higest pakage of 34LPA and lowest of 3.6LPA. Accourding to ratio of eligible candidate and placed candidate, 9-0 percent of then get placed. Not only the placements, collage also helps in finding internships as well.

Some major points where NIT Raipur stands out over the other colleges. It's Placements, being an NIT it's decent enough for anyone choosing a college in a peaceful and affordable city like Raipur. It's Alumni connections, that make the college foundation really strong. The Student Culture is really good for personal growth, for someone who is still figuring out his/her career NIT RR could be a really good college for them.
