Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

So , I took Chemical Engineering since I was interested in joining this university and so far the course is okay ! Remainder!!! "we need to study" ofc we are engineers as the 75% should be done by student and rest 25% will be taught by faculty. No worries ! We have a plenty of resources in University Library and College Library. Faculty is good and exams will be conducted as mid terms -1,2 and end sem along with lab externals. Though the one month might be hectic, it's a routine for every semester!!

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are many internship opportunities for CS , ECE branches and less for Core branches. But many internships are circulated. One can do their internship in interested domains offered by IBM , Microsoft etc..

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 50,000 for all regular courses and 1,00,000 for IDP (Btech+MTech program) and 1,00,000 for newly introduced courses from 2022. We can avail of scholarships from the government i.e. Epass which is around 35,000 every year.

Campus Life

4

Campus Life is ofcourse the best and there are many clubs one can join and make the best use of them. Interested in Singing then Join the "Raagavarsha" club , Interested in Dancing? Join "Elite feet" and coding , photography, etc. clubs are present on campus. Infrastructure is also good and there are plenty of old and new machines and labs and the university library, and auditorium are the best. Every year there will a Technical Fest organised by all departments under different names like Genos , Quest , etc....They are held for two days during April month (includes both technical and non technical events)

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facility is okay (as it's a government hostel) . The quality of the good is actually quite good , they do take special care and unlike other hostels , the food is very good. Menu is okay as it has all kinds of food served ensuring a balanced diet . Chicken is served two times a week and egg is also served two times a week. Hostel admission is done after taking form in hostel office and the rooms are spacious enough and have good lighting facility. As it's a government hostel , we need to adjust to it.

Admission

So, basically for this university or any other engineering colleges, we have to pass the EAMCET(presently EAPCET) exam and as per the rank obtained we need to apply for colleges during counselling . I'm a general candidate so i don't avail any of the reservation benefits. For my university the cutoff is ofcourse high for CS,ECE,EEE and for core also the competition is tough. Admission process is smooth as there are people who will guide you in campus when you ask them. Cheers if you got into this uni!
