Likes

Campus life is good here and environment is clean comparatively from the ncr region.
Infrastructure of this college is very large and extravagant.
Professor are graduates from IIT and many elite colleges which share ttheir ground life experience.

Dislikes

There are no fests in this college. NO source of entertainment
There is a bit issue on securing internship as they do not provide nocs.
College more focuses on academics but no extracurriculars are there

Course Curriculum Overview

College is a 40-acre campus in the middle of NCR giving connection to every kind of technical support. The hostel is very close to the lecture theatre. Here some professors are graduates from IITs and have good experience in their field.

Internships Opportunities

Here cracking an internship is a bit difficult Because this college is affiliated to AKTU so there is attendance problem here.Yes but many students have secured elite internships from DRDO and ISRO and also google.

Placement Experience

The average placement of this college is 5-7 lakhs pwr annum.Highest package offered to a student from this college was 1 cr lpa.I T companies including amazon google and samsung visit campus for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees here is one lakh forty thousand and hostel fees is one lakh thirty thousand. There is a 10000 security fees which will be returned after 4 years of college. Scholarship are provided to students who get good marks and who hold the state domicile and comes under Reservation categories.

Campus Life

There are technical societies and cultural societies here. there are ngos run by students and college fund them. Any one interested in drama dance singing can have good time spending here. There is amity theatre for drama and ground for some activities.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is a bit average here the walls in hostels are just plastered and left with the cemented walls.But yes having a hostel in college just removes the fear factorfrom parents about their child.The warden and guards is very supportive.

Admission

The admission process was smooth here The faculty members are cooperative and ready to help. Here an entrance test is conducted which cracking will give you admission to the college. The cut-off was 21 out of 30. I secured 29 and got a chance to meet the director general of our college. Here only thing I didn't like was too much paperwork which they asked me to fill out before admission.

Interview Experience

I gave an entrance exam in the PC lab.It was purely based on 12th class syllabus.The question were mcqs and I was given an ample time of 1 hour.I got 29 /30 after which I met DG and gave an interview.

Honest review of KCC college

Placement Experience:

The placement is very bad.mass recruiters like infosys and TCS come to the college . They offer a very low packages like 3 LPA .They also show very high packages for some students which are fake .You cannot expect a good package here .

RECM - Underrated but a great future ahead.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to appear for placement from seventh semester. In Civil Engg Dept 40 students enrolled for campus placement and 28 students were offered jobs till the final semester. L&T Infra, Tata Steel, Prism Cement, ACC Cement are some of the prime recruiters. Highest package offered was 7.5 lpa , lowest 4.2 lpa and median was 5.5 lpa. Profiles offered were Project Associate ,BIM Engineer, Site Supervisor, Area Head (Sales). 70% of students got placed in the first batch of this college from civil engg dept. Currently I am serving as Junior Engineer at DFCCIL (Railways).

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements . Their are many companies visted in our college some of them are Flipkart,Amazone,Infosys,icici and many otber companies . The highest package goes above the 20lacks lpa and average package goes around 5.5lacks lpa 75 percentage of are getting placed last year . My plan after getting the degree to placed in any multinational company as a developer.

Consider if you are preparing for any exam.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is not so active and here you will have to prepare for mostly the off campus placement for high paying packages otherwise the average package is 3LPA which may be not meet your expectations. The highest package from this college is off campus palcement. if you are a hardworker and have proper skills and knowledge you will deifnitely get placed . so my suggestion is that to also enjoy your college life but also be a hardworker and become a job creator.

Overall Review for AKGEC

I chose this college as in previous times it was doing quite good in placements and but now most of the students are unplaced. Other colleges I've applied to are JSS noida, Galgotias etc are these colleges got a better placement ratio that my college. But campus of other campus are smaller compared to AKGEC. so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
