Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I am pursuing computer science from my college. I wanted to enhance myself Infield of ai and machine learning.my curriculum offers various languages to learn together with dsa which is very beneficial for good software engineer. Regular test are also taken to keep students in check which is very good ????. Teachers are very good and knowledgeable in their respective fields. They know how to train and nurture new brains . Placement of my college is also decent.but it is said that nothing is perfect in this world, my college lacks new technology and devices which is necessary for students to understand and grasp new technology. Most of the comedk college will train u how to grab placement. U can never became innovative here if u rely on ur teachers and staff. So I think curriculum course need to improve in this specific area so that it would be better for students. 3 internals and one external is taken with gaps of 1 month each which is sufficient time to prepare well for the exams.

Internships Opportunities

4

Almost 70 percent of students are able to get internships in our college. Their stipend may vary from 5k to 1 lakh but overall it depends on ur skills how much u are able to bag from opportunities provided by the college

Placement Experience

4

From 6 semester students became eligible for placement. Some major companies visited in our campus our Adobe, oracle, Amazon etc and some mass recruitment company also visited us like TCS, Infosys, Wipro,Cisco, Accenture etc.In 2022 no of offers were1185 made in our campus placement which is very good and decent.highest package was about 55 lpa from Adobe and average package was about 8 lpa. CSE branch has8 lpa average package while ise branch has 7.5lpa package. About 90 percentage of students were placed through on campus and rest many others persuaded masters or any other field after engineering.

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually tution fee got reduced in year of 2023. But I still think this tution fee will always increase every year by0.8-0.5 percent.if u are from Karnataka u can easily get scholarship in kcet or if u have any lower background certificate u can get scholarship on basis of ur caste. But if u belong outside of Karnataka then forget about the scholarship, they will take each penny amount from you????. But from perspective overall this course is good as u are getting to learn lot of things in college.my tution fee for one year is 2,60,000 including all charges. I have many senior in campus who are placed at good companies through our college. If u do good in studies, have decent cgpa and knowledgeable about ur stream u can easily bag a decent amount of package from the college but in the end it all depends on ur efforts how much u are willing to sacrifice for ur goals. Overall college is good and it will provide u ample amount of opportunities in college if u are active or interested

Campus Life

3.5

There are many annual and technical festivals which have taken placed in my college like pantheon, science mela, ethinic fest are some of fest which have taken placed in my college.this fest is used to happen about 3-4 months intervals and student can participate in this fests. These types of fests help students to improve their skills and overall personality.our library is very big and it consists of all sort of subjects specific books. A person can find nice and decent book in our library if he is interested in that topic. Our classroom facility is average we have fine table and chairs and fans but we still use to study on blackboard ???? which I found pretty annoying. Anyways classrooms are fine in our courses. There are many clubs in our college like coding club, aura fashion club , dance club, literature club, organizing clubs and also many other clubs are there which are opened for students to come and participate

Admission

Admission process was very smooth through comedk. It takes 3 rounds of counselling which was nearly 3 months. You will get final allocated seat in 3rd round and if u want to freeze that seat u have to pay the fees for first year. After that you have to go to report to the allocated college. Submit important documents like 10 result card and 12. Adhaaar card, school certificate etc. application form, application fees all these things u can find on comedk portal. Be always regular connected to comedk site so that u can be tuned with new updates. Dates, fees and form all will be informed on comedk site. In my case I was informed in Feb about application form, application fees etc through comedk site. You can also get connected through various YouTube channels like college dunia etc they will always try to update u about these things. Comedk paper is much much easier when u compare to jee. U have to 180 question in 180 min which surely shoes that if u have good accuracy in problem solving.

Our college provides comprehensive training to prepare us for placments by conducting training over 2 months for both technical rounds as well as non-technical aptitude rounds. Placement Experience:

Regarding placements , students are eligible from third sem for IT branches and 6th sem for non IT branches based on how they develop their skills. There is also a memorandum of understanding or m o u with different companies by our college which encourages internships but basically we have to skill up ourselves which the IT branch students can easily do . Core branch students are eligible from 6th semester as their skills are not developed because there the subjects are more and the concept building wouldn't have happened till 6th sem. Hence we are eligible from 6th semester. This time the placements are really good core branches have got the highest placements in triple e that is electrical and electronics engineering out of 90 students 86 students have been placed which is setting a record in the college placement history for IT branches though the packages not as much as 40 LPA, a package would range from 3 to 15 lpa by companies like thought works Infosys LTTS etc. I have my future plan is to get placed in a good company work there for few years to gain professional experience and do my masters.

Placements of our college was an average because our college is located in rural area and companies were not ready to come to that rural place but our placement officer used to try very hard in order to help students and get placed in well company. During the last year i.e, 7th semester palcements used to come and depending on our eligibilty we attented the interviews. My plans after the degree completion was to do software courses and join in software company because i did electrical and eletronics engineering.

Placements at RNSIT are decent and consistent, especially for CS-related branches. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The placement cell conducts training programs including aptitude tests, coding practice, mock interviews, and soft skills sessions to prepare students. Many reputed companies such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, and some product-based companies visit the campus. The highest package in recent years has gone above 20 LPA (mostly for CS/IT related roles), while the average package ranges between 4–6 LPA depending on the branch. Most offers are for roles like Software Developer, System Engineer, Analyst, and Associate Engineer.
