Course Curriculum Overview

The couse i studied was BSc Computer Science. The curriculum was enjoyable and the course provides as a insight of how we can use the computers more efficiently. The ciurse also includes lab works and they mainly taught us java and c++ as the programming language. The only area they could improve was that they could have taught us the more advanced languages like python.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is semester wise. For a semester the educational fee was 9000 rupees. The amount was affordable. In addition to the educational fees there was also exam fees in every semester. There were no increase in the fees during my time in college. The college doesn't provide any specific scholarship , it is either provided by the central government or the state government. I was in the nss unit during my time in college. There were no stipend given at that time.

Campus Life

The campus is quite far away from the town, so it was difficult to reach the college. The buildings in the college were new and had all the available things needed for a student. But there were not any garden or a place we could relax. The college organised events like college day, freshers day, union inauguration, kalolsavam and all. The overview of sports and extracurricular activities were rather poor.

Admission

Admission is pretty simple. The application procedures were online and was based on the plustwo mark. During the admission process they called me and then told me that i have been selected to join the college. They could have been done in a more scientific way like mailing me. Overall the admission was easy and the facilities were friendly during the admission procedure.

Honesty

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course not because of curriculum.The syllabus is very bad and it doesn't really help to apply in real-world situations.I suggest that the practical exposure must be needed and give chances for students to apply in internships.The timing of exam actually stressed alot in even semesters due to shortage in classes.The faculty rushes to take class and also gives a load of work when the exam is near.

My experience and review about college and university

For this particular college there were no entrance exams. The admission process relies completely on the 12 th marks ,that means if you have good grades in 12th then the probability of getting admission in the college will be high. Apart from getting admission to college on merits there are some entrance examination done by university in wich people can study to their desired course in some particular colleges not all colleges accept the entrance exam. the college is a non-government college coming under kannur University. Students can apply to the college through CAP registration. Eligibility for the course includes at least 50% marks in 12th std. During the allotment the students can check if they got admitted to their preferred college or not. If you got an allotment, then the students should present themselves in the college whenever they are asked to. The admission form will be available in the college office which needs to be filled then and there.
