My College Life

The couse i studied was BSc Computer Science. The curriculum was enjoyable and the course provides as a insight of how we can use the computers more efficiently. The ciurse also includes lab works and they mainly taught us java and c++ as the programming language. The only area they could improve was that they could have taught us the more advanced languages like python.

The fee structure is semester wise. For a semester the educational fee was 9000 rupees. The amount was affordable. In addition to the educational fees there was also exam fees in every semester. There were no increase in the fees during my time in college. The college doesn't provide any specific scholarship , it is either provided by the central government or the state government. I was in the nss unit during my time in college. There were no stipend given at that time.

The campus is quite far away from the town, so it was difficult to reach the college. The buildings in the college were new and had all the available things needed for a student. But there were not any garden or a place we could relax. The college organised events like college day, freshers day, union inauguration, kalolsavam and all. The overview of sports and extracurricular activities were rather poor.

Admission is pretty simple. The application procedures were online and was based on the plustwo mark. During the admission process they called me and then told me that i have been selected to join the college. They could have been done in a more scientific way like mailing me. Overall the admission was easy and the facilities were friendly during the admission procedure.
