Likes

Cooperative seniors and faculties, Beautiful MANIT campus.
You can enjoy different Fests organized in both IIIT and MANIT.
Classes are held in New teaching block inside MANIT have very good environment.

Dislikes

Faculties are not that interested in making you understand what they teach.
There is no permanent campus thus a not so good campus life.
We feel like refugees in MANIT Bhopal and we have temporary campus in Manit Bhopal.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculam of IIIT Bhopal is very much placement oriented, it focuses very much on soft skills and communication skills of students.IIIT Bhopal have a very good coding culture. IIIT Bhopal lacks in practical life implementations of things that are tought in there. Lab involvement should be increased.

In 2023, IIIT Bhopal's placement rate was 99.2%, with the highest package offering at 60 LPA and the average package offering at 21.94 LPA. In 2022, the placement rate was 89.5%, and in 2021, it was 86.5%

Fees and Financial Aid

You can find updated fee structure of every session on official website of IIIT BHOPAL. for session of 2023-24, tution fees was 180000 for every one. you can avail many scholarships if you are eligible like NSPs, or your state government scholarship policies.

Campus life can be vibrant and diverse, providing students with a mix of academic, social, and extracurricular activities.It's an opportunity for personal growth, making friends, and engaging in various experiences beyond the classroom.IIIT BHOPAL have a variety of student clubs and organizations catering to different interests, including academic, cultural, sports, and social causes. There is no permanent campus still you can enjoy MANIT campus.

Admission

In IIIT Bhopal, admission process includes downloading application from it's official website then filling it and submitting it in IIIT Office.It was easy and faculties were very supportive.There is no application fee.Few days (usually 4-5 days) are given to each students to submit their admission form in office after result of CSAB round. As for specefic aspects of the admission process at IIIT Bhopal, it's essential to refer to th official website of the institute or directly contact office via Email or helpline number. There is no fee waiver for any caste or category and there is seat reservation for sc, st and obc categories. Each semester consists of three examinations, 1-Mini exam(10 marks), 2-Mid term Exam(20 marks) 3-End Term exam(60 marks) and additional 10 marks in hands of professors. There are less no. of faculties for admission process, the number should be increased.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good and offer strong opportunities for both full time roles and internships. Students are eligible for placements from 2nd year. Most companies approach from 3rd year. Many reputed companies visit the campus for placements, inluding D.E Shaw, Goldmann Sachs, Flipkart, Meesho, Accenture. Many people are placed from college from cse, ece from other branches its quite less. Overall the placement ecosystem is highly supportive and prepares students for their professional careers.

Generally companies are 7 or more cgpa to get hired. But you a skill to you can also selected with less cgpa. Iwas currently doing my internship in tcs as a web developer.

I wrote JEE exam in 2020 to get selected in IIIT Bhopal, I also applied for many other colleges like IIIT Pune, Nagpur, Allahabad etc but did not get selected as the cut off rank went up that year for these colleges .I made a list with cutoff ranks for the colleges I wanted to get enrolled in and after the completion of JOSAA counseling I got IIIT Bhopal CSE branch as alotted seat.The admission process for my college include successfully passing JEE mains exam and falling under the cutoff rank (different for different categories) and paying fees for the admission....Read More

A college good for placements but lacks social engagement

I chose this college over other because of the high placement statistics. The college life is enchanced by the fact that it is in a capital city. Our mentor institute is an old NIT itself.
