Review of IIIT Ranchi

The cource is relevant but I think if we are in iiit then it should focus more on information technology and towards innovation technology but it only teaches likes an arts college which is not good for any iiit.

The placement stats are good on paper . From end of 3rd year students are eligible for placement and sit in 7th sem for placements . There are many companies which visit for campus placement like Deloitte etc Student also get off campus placement in MNC like Google Amazon. The highest package is 81 lakhs which is given to a girl in 2022 . The placement percentage is good , it is approx 92% which is real .

The fee is very High. For 2023 batch the tution fee is 110000 per sem + 18000 for hostel + 18000 mess fee + extra fee Total fee 165000 per semester. There is scholarship only if your family income less than 2.5 lakh per annum. If higher then there is no scholarship

IIIT ranchi does not have permanent campus and doesn't even have a good academic building. So overall campus life is 2/10. Not advised any my known friend or person to get admission in this college until it's permanent campus is ready

The hostel is good. There are 3 buildings which have 2 bhk and 3 bhk flats. We have to share 1 room with 2 person means in 2 bhk there are 6 people. There is 2 bathrooms is each flat and a geyser is provided and wifi facility is also provided

Admission is done based on jee mains rank. I got approx 60k CRL rank and 17.7k OBC category rank and I'm currently in the ECE branch. The admission process is just like other colleges like Nit, just have to participate in Josaa or csab counseling, and depending upon your rank you will get a seat.
