Likes

College campus is quite attractive , as rooms are spacious and airy with excellent ventilation. Also there are specific rooms for specific purpose.
College faculties are quite supportive and help students achieving their full academic potential.
College curriculum is too good as they cover a variety of topic based on real life practicability.

Dislikes

College management needs a bit of improvement as sometimes it creates burden on students. So it needs to be improved.
Cleaning can be an area for improvement as campus faces an issue regarding cleanliness. So it should be taken due care.
Too much involvement in social groups can lead to deterioration of educational life . So students have responsibility regarding it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is highly based on the practical knowledge of the students in specified fields. It makes students face the real applications and their mental toughness. Curriculum needs some improvements as there are a lot of things required to make students achieve Success in their field. Exams are conducted on their fixed time.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees is quite affordable as compared to some private colleges. And the fee increase policy also do not create too much burden on smaller class families. Scholarship are also available to students belonging to scheduled castes and meritorious students. College also provide campus placement on regular basis in some good corporate companies.

Campus Life

Library contains large number of books covering various educational fields. Also books are provided to students quite comfortably. Extra curricular activities are also conducted regularly making students socially more connected including sports activities. Also students run social groups help the society in a better way including other students.

Admission

Hi, I have enrolled for bachelors in commerce (b.com) in this college. College provides a variety of educational courses. For getting enrolled you need to pass your 12th exam from any stream with good marks. Admission is done through merit list based on percentage of marks of students. Application form, fees and dates are available on college website . Exams are conducted on their fixed time. Questions asked in exams can be answered through attending classes. Admission process can be made good by improvement in management. Overall a good college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

Our goal is to be courteous and appropriate and these guidelines are flexible.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Concentrix, reliance jio, Yamaha motor Pvt Ltd, v Poddar, and associates, etc visited my college for placement the offers made of about in starting 20000 to 30000 salary will be given. The highest package is of 100000 and average package is of 50000 they offers. 80 percent of students getting placements. My plan is to get job in one of these companies after getting the degree.

College life

Remarks:

This college is near to my home and have good reputation in commerce. Its a renowned college for commerce. The fees is also very less here. The maximum fees here is 2000 yearly. There is no need for entrance exam here if you want to join UG or PG. But you have to give entrance for vocational courses. For entrance you should have just scored 60-70% in your previous board exam. This is the most driving factor to take admission here.
