What Students Say

Likes

After completion of this course you will become alumni of IIT Madras which is not easy to become.
Fee is reasonable if you are having financail aid.
A good exposure of students throughout the country.

Dislikes

The main con is ,this course is online which makes me to miss college life.
Exams to be writen every month and the centres are bit far in metro cities
Lectures give by faculty are bit boring and some are very lengthy too.

Course Curriculum Overview

curriculum is very good because you are getting knowledge from IIT faculty who are having yeafrs of experience which made the biggest pros for me to choose this course. Lectures are through online mode and clarification session will be available.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 32000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Since IIT madras college is one of the top 5 institutions in India and top 100 in world, there is no doubt about internships. If you are quite good and brilliant yiu may get interns abroad too. Stipend may range from 10k to 1 lakh

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement cell for this course is good because data science is the booming course right now. Since this course has been launched recently ( Around 5 years), average package is around 6 lakhs. MNC's like google, netflix etc provide placements here.

Fees and Financial Aid

fee structure is 32000 for first year and it is not constant for every year. For 4 years it costs around 3.5 lakhs which in my opinion is worth it if you are consistent enough. Financial aid is also provided by IIT if you are a reservation candidate.

Campus Life

As this course is completely online we cannot enjoy and experience the pros of iit institution but there offline fests to which you are invited by iit and enjoy there. The biggest fest in this course is "Paradox", which is conducted in the summer every year.

Admission

I got into IIT Madras through JEE based entry. The eligibility criteria is you have to qualify JEE advanced to get into this course. If u have not qualified then you have to go through regular entry in which an exam is to be given.

IIT Madras is magnificent!!

Placement Experience:

Apollo Hospital to Greens and many medical and hospital which are engaged in hospitals or building technology that supports it. Our course is still not that old and in the batches that have passed out so far, I think the average stands at some 10 lakhs or so.

IITM BS DEGREE - a game changer in distant education

Placement Experience:

After the sixth test students become eligible for the campus placements, there are many companies. Many high-level companies who visit the campus like the Microsoft, Google, Adobe, and TCS Infosys and many more the number of marriage, I can tell you the ratio, one students get approximately 8-9 offers. The highest package was approximately 1.0 2CR.

BS in Electronic system from IIT Madras

Placement Experience:

BS in data science students have completed their 1st batch and got highest placement of 23 lacs and average of 8 lacs . So placement of electronic system will also revolve around this figure. After 3rd year students are eligible for placements. Most of the Bengaluru based tech company visited for this degree holders. I have a plan to go for higher studies abroad after completing this degree.

Placement Experience:

Everyone got placement somewhere or in campus in different paths . For a good placement like 70 la.khs to 1 crore you need to study from 1st year . Study means do your homework time to time and follow the faculty. Highest package 7 crore Average package 25 lakhs Minimum package 10 lakhs Companies like - meta, Amazon , Google ,tata all big , medium , and small companies arrived because it's iit madras ( nirf -1 ) Students become eligible for placement in 4th year. My plan is for startup.

Placements in IITs are commmendable. Our average package is 22 lacs overall. Coming to my branch. Highest package offered was 55 lacs and lowest was 6 lacs . Average package offered was around 15 lacs per annum. Many companies including Google, Microsoft, Goldman sachs etc. visit here for campus placements.

It's online yes, it's called the first copy IITians

Placement Experience:

Placement statistics are low for now as the course is new but the highest package as far as I know was 25 lpa and avg package is around 8-9 lpa. It's not really about the package but the opportunities IIT Madras opens for you. My plan is to get a master's degree in the same field and continue from there.

I choose this college over the another colleges because it is the best degree degree over the BTech from low level or tier three tier four colleges, I was having many options for T3 colleges BTech CSE, but I chose this because I think it's the best I apply to SRMS Bareilly University all the colleges I was confirmed, but I chose this college because it was providing me latest curriculum and data science is very new in this. The admission process for this degree is like if you will register in a term, you have to pay. Thousand rupee registration fee. After that you will get a syllabus of one month or we can say four weeks you have to do that, and after that, you will be having exam, you have to pass the exam with more than 50%....Read More
