My course i.e. BS in Biological Science under department of Biotechnology. I get to know that we will be taught not only bio course but also other science courses like physics, maths and chemistry. There are recreational courses like Web development, Communicatin oriented soft skills , flute , guitar and so on. There are NSS, NCC, NCO, and NSO and opting one out of these is compulsary leading to overall pesonality development. The courses are flexible and a wide range of electives are available there to select from.

Interships are provided by the placement cell. Lots of oppurtunities are available. The college is very supportive and provides a free hand to go for inturnships and startups. Many of our seniors are currently in their internship periods in Japan, Germany and the USA etc. Even get to know about akills and personality development here,.

Placements in IITs are commmendable. Our average package is 22 lacs overall. Coming to my branch. Highest package offered was 55 lacs and lowest was 6 lacs . Average package offered was around 15 lacs per annum. Many companies including Google, Microsoft, Goldman sachs etc. visit here for campus placements.

The fees structure is quite flexible as compared to private colleges. Tution fees is around 1.15 lacs per sem. Hostel fees and Mess fees combines upto 36k for a semester. Charges of labs and health and any other services are itself included in the above fees. Now coming to the scholarships. They are applicable only for tuition fees: (Based on parent's annual income) Above 5 lacs - No scholarships 1lac to 5 lacs- only have to pay 33% of the above mentioned tuition fees. Below 1 lac - only have to pay the hostel and mess charges. @ SC and ST candidates only have to paay hostel and mess fees irrespective of their annual income.\ #Many other scholarships are available in colaboration with the Indian Govt. and alumni network.

Sarang, the well renowed fest is conducted here in January. Many socities and clubs are here. Some commendable team sunder CFI are Hyperloop team (avishkar) even recognised by prime minister of India. all kinds of books, journals and magazines are available. the library facility is markable. Digitalised classrooms are there. All kinds of sports facilities are avalable here like Cricket, Swimming, Squash and so on.

Room is of very good quality. Large almirah and a good space is available. Mess food is of nice quality and lots of varity in mess is there like North and south and veg and non-veg in both domains. We just have to come and fill a form through ikollege account provided by the college for any of the above facilities change, improvement and any thing related to them.

I had option to join core branches in NIT Trichy and surathkal. Circuital branches and Cse in remaining Top NITs. i also had IT branch option in DTU. But the explosure of IIT and peer group quality attracted me the most. Then comes the non core oppurtunities are more available here if i want to. And being called an IITian was my childhood dream. I was rejected for no colleges. I had a lot of options in best colleges of India. Thanks to my JEE score. The couselling is done by JOSAA itself. We only have to submit some basic documents. After that there was physical verificatio of those documents on the day of addmission.

The faculty to student ratio is around 1:30, which is quite better as compared to other colleges. All the faculties are good and suppotive, They always motivate us to give your best in any activity and you will either have fun or learn a lot of things. Our maths faculty often says"Exams are incidental and rank is just an integer." In a nutshell, all are loving and supportive
