Likes

i like whether in this collage and during winters you can see snow fall daily
collage fests will be great and we can chill a lot and also a great collage for me
faculties here are very friendly and caring

Dislikes

there will be a minimum raging but after some time seniors also be friendly to us
whether her is too harsh for me and its very cold here
its around 15 kilometers to mandi city and you need to travel 45 minutes to reach city

Course Curriculum Overview

for me this curriculam is great but need some minor updates thats it .....so far my collage life is chill in iit mandi and we here are developing some great robots to fight humans and robots war and so we are preparing to get into dark side of mars via rocket launcher and we are writing one mid sem and one end sem along with 2 labs per week

Internships Opportunities

regarding interships and frankly im not a part of any internship so far due to my less cgpa compared to others and many companies will come to campus like amazon and cognizant and infosys and google and it will be great during that internship

Placement Experience

if you are talking about placements stats in iit mandi is 60 lpa and compared to other iits we are little bit low but its okay and average pakage here is 21 lpa and like 90 % students attending interviews will definitely get selected through their skill in studies

Fees and Financial Aid

fee in iit mandi is around 1 lakh per year and complete cost of my btech is around 5 lakhs and here are some scholarships for poor students as well and amount of scholarship is around 75000 per year and overall is good but not the best

you must already know that these iits are great collage and dont fear to take it if you got seat in iit mandi and for me actually no .of girls in our campus are less and they are good and friendly and faculties are great but there are some strict teachers here also and there will be many clubs here too

actually im recited to iit mandi via some josaa after writing jee and I know its agood collage and for this we need write jee then we can get into iit mandi and regarding reservation benefits and for getting into iit we not only write jee mains but also jee advanced

Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. IIT Mandi- my home and karmbhoomi

Honestly I initially thought of branch change and college in some what cold place which led me to this college. Our college is moderate in comparison to other iits, obviously you cant compare it with old iits , but yeah its decent enough, having good students and friends. Placement of four college is better than other iits. Some years result in placement ogf good no. of students whereas some leads to okish. The sport facilities are ok. Swimming pool is not of olympic size and it requires lot of time for repair of the sport equipments. Admission process is through Jossa counselling after JEE Advanced. I applied for VIT, NIT BHOPAL, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Jammu, IIT BHU, IIT Ropar, NIT Durgapur, and many of the IITS and NITS. I choose only this so, didn't fill for confirmation for others. IIT MANDI KE ANSUNE KISSE

The admission process at IITs are generally common through a cmon entrance exam all over India named jee mains for nits and then after qualifying in that we need to score good in jee advanced. There are reservations for sc, st, obc and economically backward classes. Like you can get good branches with lower marks. For example in computer science you can get 6000 rank for obc but around 2000 for general candidates....Read More
