Life at Jagsom - preparedness, presence, predictably, pressure

It's really comprehensive with respect to the preparation of students since jagsom follows t-shape carriculum which includes preparing students' base with core courses, then choosing the majors and minors preparing them for specific choice of field or domain, and at last the most unique part which is super specialization i.e. career track which is preparing students' for the specific choice of career domain within the chosen domain. For example I took finance as major and capital markets as my career track

Intership opportunities are specific to the roles you want to persue for example my career track is capital markets so I have the opportunity to into equity research, wealth management, derivatives, technical analysis etc. as well as the companies are also in abundance for all the roles.

Placements are competitive and average would be 9-10 lakh which is a good ROI especially for the freshers and especially in this environment when finding a job is very difficult and JAGSOM has provided a 100% internship and currently the placements are ongoing for the 2022-24 batch and it has also provided 100% placements for the last batch i.e. 2021-23.

So there are 2 kinds of scholarships available 1. General scholarship for the 30 general category of students which provides assistance of 4 lakh rs. 2. EWS scholarship for the 10 EWS category students which provides full scholarship of 14 lakh rs.

The infrastructure of the college is well designed and the Hostel rooms are a bit small but manageable since JAGOM's priorities are providing the best class faculty and academics. There are social Immersion program which is focused towards helping NGOs and making students realize the importance of helping society. Also, JAGOM organizes Kanyathon event which is focused towards collecting funds which is used for the betterment of the lives of girls in different areas by establishing Kanya Shiksha Kendra.

Hostel facility is not so good but it's manageable when we compare it to the the quality of education it can be neglected since we are coming here for learning and not for living a luxury life and food depends on the students since it is managed by the Hostel committe itself you can have the modifications you want.

The admission process consisted of 4 rounds JAGMAT - exam conducted by Jagsom itself and the cutoff was 35/70. GD-PI with faculty PI with seniors Overall experience is good and the level of difficulty for all 3 rounds is moderate.

Yes, the first round itself is the JAGMAT round which is a apptitude test of 75 marks. Second round is the GD round. Third round is the PI round with faculty of JAGSOM Fourth round is again a PI round with the alumni of the JAGSOM
