Most of the students who apply for placements in the CSE or EE get placed easily, other disciplines have to work hord for the placement. Many students are placed in non-core jobs that creates competition amongst students. Overall the placements facility needs to be improved.

Candidates have to apply for and appear in the JEE mains exam paper 1, after qualifying the JEE main with minimum cutoff percentile candidates are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced exam, after qualifying with minimum cutoff AIR, Candidates are eligible to participate in JOSAA seat allotment in various institutions. Candidates fill their choices on JOSAA platform for their desired institution with program. JOSAA then allotes a seat to candidate. After allotement of institutions Candidate have to report to the institution for physical verification and registration.
