Course Curriculum Overview
Computer science curriculum is based on practical world and the curriculum has been updated recently and courses here teach you to learn competitive coding. Faculties are good,experienced and from forgien universities ,they teach well and help us to learn course in a usefull manner. Some Faculties doesn't interact much and the corrections of papers,and tests are in hands of respective Faculties. Exams are tough based on our Faculties,generally in 1st year dept sets paper and for everyone paper is the same
Fees and Financial Aid
As of such there is no increase of tuition fees until your 4 years but hostel fees increases 10k for single sharing. Around 8.2 lakhs would be your 4 years college fees. Scholarships are available based on your category. Based on your income reliance Scholarships are available.
Campus Life
There is a private beach in our college There are two fests engineer in odd sem and incident in even sem. Engineer is tech fest,people from various places show their skills and students show their opportunities. Incident is cultural fest. There are central library where you can find large number of books which are useful for courses and e library is also present. Classrooms are well developed,new and provide all facilities. Sports facilities are excellent you can enjoy your campus life,almost for every Sport There is a ground and provide amenities including tennis and swimming. There are 21 clubs,10 are technical clubs and all are handled by students.
Hostel Facilities
Room facilities are good,they provide Lan and student wifi 10gb per day. Mess food is good enough to survive,quality of mess food is good but sometimes you feel bored. You need to register your iris app for hostel and fees for hostels are reasonble.
Admission
To eligible for this course,you need to qualify hee mains and for general category your rank has to be in range of 1k to 2k You need to fill the jossa filling options and pay 40k for confirming seat and for csab options you should pay extra 4k for participating. My jee mains rank was 1894,I got Cs in nitk surathkal in round 6 of jossa counselling. Exams here at nitk are tough enough but could score easily by studying daily,there would be 2 quizzes ,1 midsem and endsem exams. Admission process is good, seniors are here to help and choose hostels according to your mess
