Course Curriculum Overview

College has good discipline and faculties are helpful but lot of assignment are there which are not required mess food is average best for mechanical engineering students. There are lot of societies which encourage you to join them and also as there are no fest in college they help college to organize there own events.

Campus Life

College life is average here but academics is good. Infrastructure is also good. Placements: Many students are placed in my department, average package is 3-4 LPA and the highest package is 6-7 LPA. Many software companies visited and core companies as well visited our college.

Admission

No Fest. Don’t expect any fest, cultural event, or anything to release stress. College Timing. The college starts at 8:30 morning and ends at 4:00 noon. Feels like school. No student feedback. If a student is not happy with the faculty, or having any issue related to the college, you can’t give any feedback, as there is no committee to take student feedback. Even the feedbacks that students give teachers at the end of semester are going directly to the teacher with the names. So everyone is giving fake 5 star to each n every teacher, so that there internals are secured.

The placements of GCET are considered average to above average for a private college. The average usually looms around 5LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was 39 LPA by Autodesk. Around 70-80 percent students are placed every year.

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester onwards students became eligible for campus placements.They are only few companies come on our college and very few offers.The highesr paid package by an company to our college student is 40 lac per annum but the average package is 4.5 lac per annum.Only 10 percent of students get on campus placements.I will pursue M.Tech from any other university.

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
