Course Curriculum Overview
JAGSoM believes in learning by solving and follows T shaped curriculum. The curriculum says that in first 2 terms the student has to undergo all the core and practice courses and from third term they can elect their own subjects related to the desired career track which will be followed in term 4.
Internships Opportunities
Students at JAGSoM, Bengaluru are being placed in companies like Oracle, Tata IQ, Bosch, Harman Internationals, Dave AI etc. Roles in all the fields are offered by various companies. Some of the roles include: Marketing intern Brand management intern Business Analyst intern etc.
Placement Experience
100% of the eligible students get placed in the IIP i.e., Industry Internship Program. Post which many students get PPO (Pre placement offer) and rest do sit for final placements. For 21-23 batch highest international package went to 83.3 L, highest domestic package went to 43.3 L and average package went to 13.3 L.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is available and is adjusted in the final installment of the fee. The eligibility of the scholarship depends on the student's score in JAGMAT and the CGPA which he/she has to maintain during the the entire course.
Campus Life
Life at JAGSoM starts at 5:30 wherein students have to compulsorily attend PEP session which is Personality Enhancement Program. Its a credit course and throughout the term certain attendance has to be maintained to be able to pass the course. Huge lush green hostel campus with large multi purpose ground is just 3 km away from the college. To and fro bus services are provided to students with no extra charge.
Admission
Admission Process at JAGSoM was quite smooth and unique. It usually takes one entire day for the process. Usually a batch of 50-60 candidates appear for the process. JAGSoM conducts it's own aptitude test as well called JAGMAT which is the qualifier for the admission. However, the national level exams such as CAT, XAT and CMAT are must. The process constitutes of JAGMAT, GE and two rounds of personal interview i.e., panel interview comprising of 3 members mainly 1 alumni, 1 industry expert and 1 faculty member. The other round of interview is called shoulder panel interview in which the students from current batch conduct the interview.
Interview Experience
Yes, Group Exercise and JAGMAT are the two evaluation which every candidate has to undergo during his admission selection process, we at JAGSoM call it ASP Group Exercise is based on a topic given and the candidates in group have to discuss and reach to a conclusion prepare a ppt and share. JAGMAT is the aptitude test based on same pattern as CAT.
