Course Curriculum Overview
Computer science and engineering is one of the most emerging course happening, it gives lot of opportunities to discover yourself and if you are good in your job then it will pay you enough to sustain in your life ..i love computer science because this field does not have any limitations it can get you beyond than you can think . But you should opt for this only if you are interested otherwise there is lot of competition that can make you lack behind.this course needs improvement by making students work on real life projects rather than just compelling on theory . The exams in my college held 3 times , 2 St1 and st 2 and one pre University exam and at last , the end semester exam, they are moderate to difficulty.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are not that much , but still have some opportunities in college campus only , but it's really sad to say that most of the internship opportunities are not for computer science students but the students for mechanical, civil, ai ml such companies are bosch , akgec skill .
Placement Experience
Eligibility for placements start from 7th semester of 4th year . Many famous companies visit the college such as Amazon , IBM, Infosys and there were total of 275 offers made my companies and total of 1067 students got placed in 2022. The highest package was of 1.3 crore and average package is of 5.13 lakhs. Almost 70 - 80 percent students get placed in companies .
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee increases after every year but not that much only few thousands. The total cost is 11952 for a year , and some 7000 rs just before every exam in each semester. There are 2 scholarship for girls worth 50000 and students get one job of maintaining college library register which provides you 1000rs .
Campus Life
There is only one function happens which is freshers and that is also not that much enjoyable.only way you can enjoy your college life is if you are a member of college societies that gives you many opportunities to explore and maintain and enhance your talents . Akgec gives many opportunities for students in sports , there are personal coaches for each sports and held competitions and give monetary reward to students who win.
Admission
Eligibility - you should pass 12th and should have atleast scored decent marks in jee , your percentile should be more than 90 percent , reserves categories may get the same branch computer science and engineering above 85 percentile.the jee exams held in 2 parts and both are hard if you didn't studied enough but getting 91 percentile is not that much of a big deal .
