Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is very old. No recent advancements have been made. Teaching methods are also mediocre where ppts are main tool used for teaching in class. Resources provided are good. Mechanical engineering courses are physics based which attracted me to the course
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are pretty good. Most companies come during 5, 6 sem to recruit interns. Few companies also give ppo based on the candidate. Most are paid internships with stipend upto 1 lakh/ month
Placement Experience
Placement season starts from 7 sem and ends at the beginning of 8th sem. In mechanical highest package is 50lpa andedian package is 10 lpa. For mechanical companies like Bajaj and caterpillar come for core placement. Other than that it companies also recruit from core branches
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees come up to about 8 lakhs for 4 years including mess and hostel costs and without any concession. There are multiple opportunities to take up as management roles in various fests conducted. Internship and placement are good which gives good roi
Campus Life
There are 2 major fests one technical and one cultural. The technical fest is called engineer and cultural is called incident. There are also many clubs both technical and cultural to maintain interests of all students
Hostel Facilities
Accommodation is 2 bed for first and second years single bed for 3 and 4 years girls. Registration process is pretty smooth. There are 2 less options available for girls one veg and one non veg. Mess food is nutritious but bland
Admission
Admission through josaa and csab. Very delayed process. Happens after all private colleges close admission. There are 2 exams per semester midsem and endsem. Other than that there are 2 quizzes conducted throughout sem. Assignments are given for evaluation
