I chose this course because getting into computer science and engineering is like getting into tech. A lot of opportunities open up if you have this particular course degree, atleast for me. And also I like this course and I am really interested in this course. This course curriculum prepares for the tech field, to handle tech related problems. And also it prepares us to create tech related products and solve tech related problems. I think the teachers should focus more on teaching the students with attentivity. I found that some of the teachers are not really passionate to teach or to create any interest about the subject. They are not even focussed about teaching effectively. But there are many teachers whose teaching methods are amazing and intuitive. There are a lot of exams in each semester. 4 CAs and then final semester. CAs are very easy but the semester depends on the question done by the MAKAUT University. Sometimes it's easy and sometimes it's hard.

The tuition fees of this college is very less compared to other engineering colleges. That is a very good point of this college. We have to pay 40k - 42k each semester. The complete cost of education in this college is total 3 - 4 lakhs for 4 years (without hostel) and 6 - 7 lakhs for 4 years (with hostel). There is one scholarship everyone applies to is Swami Vivekananda Scholarship by the West Bengal govt. It gives 60k every year. It's a very famously scholarship. You should apply for it if you are gonna study in any college from West Bengal. There's no Campus Employment as such. But at the time of college fest if you can manage and work in the college and bring bands for concert, you can earn a lot of money. And there is one, like if you do drone photography in the college campus, then you can earn money.

There is one college fest held every year on the month of April. Students enjoy a lot on those days. And there is freshers for the 1st year new comer students. The library is also very big and has a lot of amazing books to read. The classrooms are pretty normal with a black board or a white board depending on which building you are in. There are sports championships in this college like cricket, football, badminton and there are basketball courts in the campus. And there are different kinds of races in sports. This general championships happen between different departments in this college competing each other. There are very few clubs in this college. There's one music club and sports club. There is no such club in this college.

The admission process was good and easy. It was done online but we had to come to college for one day to complete the admission process. I took West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) Exam then I came to this college. The application form was given on the college website and the application form was to be paid online and the application dates were all had been given online. The timing of the exams happens at the same time every year and the difficulty of the exams vary (sometimes it's easy and sometimes it's difficult) because the question paper are all set by the MAKAUT University. The cut off to get into this college was that you had to be below 30000 rank all of West Bengal to get into Computer Science and Engineering department. I think the Application process is fine and easy and there's nothing for suggestions.
