Syed Illyas Razvi's Review On Sri Pratap College, Srinagar

in short i love my college offering us the best way of learning the lessons in the academics, culture, extracurricular activities and much more. the first entry in the college inspires a lot with the respect of the students there and there is ban on raking system which gives the relaxing sigh to the admiting students.

i did not appear in anyone of the entrance examinations because i want to do research in my subject and also want to qualify the civil service examination as soon as possible. and i also want to study very calmly and not to hassel in my studies.

first i have took my course in 11th standard and then carried it on the same. since there was the best opportunity to my carrier in the college with my subject and i could do a lot in this college about my subject. also i enquired about the faculty regarding my subject and i found that very interesting that there are well known professors in the college.

no because college has already been affected by the floods in september 2015. and there was a lot of damage to the college infrastructure and library and the management could not do anything like this.

since i already that our college is not affilated with any company or organisation, therefore no one has been placed in the company through the college and it is expected that soon the college may get the affilation with two or more companies. and it is also expected that the college is going to offer integrated courses to the students that may be the cause of affilation. also our college has got the centre of cluster university srinagar which gives a wide choice to the students.

the college holds annual sports festival where i participate i the annual road race also the college holds seminars on different topics in the college auditorium which is very attractive. the college also organises awareness camps and also manages workshops such as matlab programming etc.

the fee structure is very feasible and every one could afford that lesser one and there is time bound strictness for the same , since the employees in the administration section are very polite on the advice of college administration. also the new schemes launched by government of india are also offered at our college.

no not at all as here in the valley the government is very weak who could add this feature to the college.

the college has a very big campus with the long play ground where many cricket matches are being played simultaneously. the administrative building is very attractive and very ancient. the college campus is still developing and is expected to be the one of the beautiful campuses in the valley. as it was the beautiful one but, the floods in september 2014 damaged it a lot and now the drainage system is well built in the whole campus.

the alumni are set to abroad as the history of the college is very great and the same is expected from us. also the senior students are very helpful and cooperative.

since our college is linked with the kashmir university and it is known to all about the kashmir university that how difficult is to appear in the exams, therefore providing a high standard learning to students with their hardwork. now the new CBCS system has changed the whole scenario of exams offering 40 objective type questions and some descriptive questions.

this is a science college and there was a lot of options of streams. and i also heard that there is well infrastructure and well build labs. also the faculty in the college was very good. which is the main cause that i took to this college and the distance to this college from my house was very enjoyable on daily basis.

as i already gave this answer in the title that the faculty of this college is very very good and they are highly qualified, young, educated, cooperative and honest and friendly in their work. whenever we need extra classes so that the syllabus will be covered in the given time, they will never refuse for that.
