Remarks

The best thing I love about this college is that they care about students and their behavior .you need to be in formals all days except on Saturday. The college gate will close at 9:30 and open again at 3:30. During this time no one's allowed to go out. In case of emergency, they can consult their mentors and take the out pass.

Entrance Preview

I gave CET exam n I scored 62 points. I opted for this university because it has a very good and peaceful environment. They took an interview at the university and asked few aptitude questions and I was able to answer them all, the question was not tough enough and asked about my interest n which field has got what advantage.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

They teach very well and have a good research on each topic they teach. They try to teach or explain things with live or practical examples. They show video or show ppts or images which helps with understanding the topic clearly. They provide elective which are compulsory and let u take elective from other fields which help u to combine both the knowledge and help out better

Internships Opportunities

They provide internship in two parts first after finishing 4th semester that is the end of the 2nd year they give two months for an internship to every eligible student and the other in the 4th year which makes a total of 7 months of internship. The company provides the stipend as per their will. Many big and small companies like Ashoka layland Hp Hatti kappi Nova Robotech Tata Etc

Placement Experience

5

The placement did not happen as the first batch is still to graduate and will be graduated in 2019. The placement took place for MBA. The maximum they were offered were 60000 and most of them were placed in big companies like a decathlon, Etc

College Events

4.5

Many events are organized here. We have an intercollegiate event known as Meraki. This is a big festival which continues for two days and all the students show interest and show off their talents. Program for the law which is moot court, in this student from different colleges participated Some technical seminars on different topics like big data etc. Cultural events where students show off their talents and dress ethnic. Sports events which are a one-week long event and includes all athletic sports. And other indoor-outdoor games. And on the last day, the winners are awarded trophies and medals along with The certificates.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are different fee structure for different students For management student, the fee structure including hostel is 200000rs approx. For other like CET comedk etc it's around 70-80000rs including bus The hostel fee is 95000 + 10000 caution deposit.

Fees and Financial Aid

The best scholarship by College is provided by giving an exam. If the exam is qualified, you will be given the concession or scholarship according to marks scored. They offer loans to students who needed all types of scholarship are accepted here.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostels are clean and have 2 and 3 sharing room. Each student gets his own studying desk or table. Area of the rooms are large, nearly every room has a balcony. The food provided is south Indian the quality of food is good but may taste different to different people. If hostels are full the rent apartment to give hostels facilities. If the apartments are also full then the best pg near-by with a good hygiene and quality food will cost around 5000-7000rs depending on the facilities the Pg provides.

Alumni/Alumna

All students here live together as friends. There has never been a case of ragging. The junior is more friendly with senior and vice versa. There is a peaceful environment among students.

Exam Structure

We have a solid exam structure. Conducted in three parts test 1, test 2 and comprehensive test(final) The test one contains less portion. Same the test 2 also has few portions which make overall 3-4 chapters. The syllabus covered in test1&2 won't come in comprehensive exam expect few imp. topics. The exams are back to back. No tolerance for malpractice

Admission

After giving CET . I opted for this college. I then just got the admission form from the college filled the form along with the document. The notification for the same was released few days before the orientation. The administration was very helpful and helped out through all the process

Faculty

5

Teachers are highly qualified and all of them are from bits, IIT or NIT except few who are all Ph.D. holders. They pay individual attention. Remedial classes if found anyone having troubles understanding the topic. They make u understand the topic so well that u won't forget that.

Placement Experience:

The institute records an impressive average package of ~INR 7.20 LPA and the highest packages reaching up to INR 53.50 LPA. The college actively drives employability through a dedicated 'Talent Transformation Hub'. Campus Placements Overview CIT is known for its solid industry connections, resulting in 80–90% placement rates annually. Top Recruiters: Companies like Accenture, Infosys, HP, Amazon, and Samsung. The Process: The placement cell conducts specialized skill-building boot camps and provides structured mentorship to ensure students are corporate-ready by graduation. If Placements Fall Short: Employability & Alternative Plans Even though CIT consistently places the vast majority of its batch, students who do not secure on-campus job offers (or wish to pursue other paths) have robust support through: Startup & Entrepreneurial Initiatives: CIT has an active E-Cell and a business connection to help budding founders. The Talent Transformation Hub focuses on practical knowledge needed to start a business. Higher Education: Students frequently leverage the college's alumni network and faculty mentorship to prepare for competitive exams like GATE, or to apply for Master's programs (MS, M.Tech) in India or abroad. Off-Campus Drives & Internships: Students are encouraged to undertake industry internships and live projects to build their portfolios, making it easier to land off-campus roles at top tech companies.

This is the best part. The whole point of niat program is to get a study for the job. It's not like the old system where you chill for 3 years and panic in the 4th year. All the learning here are very different. From the first day itself we will be doing coding.
