What Students Say

Likes

The computer science lab is good and computers are in good condition.
There is no ragging here seniors are Cooperative with us.
Our college is near many temples and tourist places where we can go.

Dislikes

Labs other than computer science is not in good condition.
Fest and other events are not good. Also overall college is not well maintained.
Hostel is separated from college in first year and there is no hostel facility for second year onward students except meritorious students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Here there are four branches 1. Computer Science and Engineering, 2. Electronic And Communication Engineering 3. Mechanical Engineering 4. Electrical Engineering Till now there no issues of attendance you easily manage the course.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 126350 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Haridwar University BTech fees for B.Tech. (CSE/ECE/EE/ME) is Rs 1,27,000 per annum. It is a 4-year Engineering course offered at the UG level. The fees for hostel is 55000. Hostel is only for 1st year students and meritorious students. And hostel is 6 km away from college.

Campus Life

College campus is not big and also not well maintained. But many clubs are there like GDSC club, hackbycodex club. Clubs are not very good condition but a one who is willing can participate and Excel .

Hostel Facilities

In campus there is hostel named as Maharishi Valmiki Hostel which is very small aprox 50-60 students can live there and for students second year onward. For first year students there hostel named Pandit Lekhram hostel. In which all first year students used to live and some meritorious students of second year and third also Live there.

Hostel Fee: INR 55000 per year

Admission

Admission is done on the basis of jee mains and 80 percentile is required. It is an only boys College girls are not allowed. Any boy who eligible for jee mains is eligible for admission here. There is also an option of lateral entry details of which is available on official website.

My college review

Placement Experience:

Stuiarw eligible for placement from 6th semester . There are so many companies visited such as wipro, Deloitte, hcl, tech Mahindra, TCS, and many more. Highest package of BTech is 1.24 cr and average package is 40000. Percentage of students get placed is 60%. My plan after degree is to get an good it job.

GEU is an adventure!

Placement Experience:

Room for placements can't be better than GEU. As our department which isn't much in demand and still over 80% of placements rate itself is a story worth telling. I am so glad that it is happening and this is the reason I feel so good studying here as I can't do more as placements care are taken by the university very well.

GEU is super amazing!

Placement Experience:

It's in the final year as once the final year begins, students are asked to pull their socks up and go limitless as nearly 100 or rather much more are there at the campus and interest in CSE students is the highest. Also, there's a large section of IT students who are placed from GEU every year and that too without much of an effort.

Versatile college with good RoI

Placement Experience:

One of the best thing I saw here is placement. If a student is willing to do job then this college is appropriate place from him or her.. Students are placed in IT , SALES , FINANCE, EDTECH , TRANSPORT, DRUGS , etc Students are eligible for jobs and placed from the beginning of pre final semester and can apply in each and every company as per required skills. Not big tech Faang companies visit the campus but a decent level IT companies and limited visit the campus. And conduct their interviews and exams process. Although interview rounds are tough and offcourse nail biting competition among the students. The highest package this year till now 34 LPA by an American MNC . Average package is 550000. Approximately 90 percent students got placed in different domains and fields. My plans are so clear. I will take the job first in IT companies and get some experience on ground level and will grow further.

GEU is a world class place to study!

Placement Experience:

Pringle, The Sleep Co, Lenskart, Luscious, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Google, Facebook and every tech company which potentially can come have come to our college for placements. On and average placements worth 6-40 LPA are common. Since some students miss out so on a whole the placements average stands a little below 10 LPA.

Engineering in Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University. Firstly we need 12th pass with 75% marks then crack the jee mains examination and sit in the josaa counseling then go into the csab counseling after the counseling crl rank under the 1lakh .
