Remarks

Overall the experience has been good..the management institute is still evolving...however the pedagogy it follows is its strength...the platform provided by the college is up to the mark..the students have to finally step up and grab the opportunities

Entrance Preview

I appeared for MAT May 2017 exam...I got 95 percentile...The main reason was this college has a culture and follows a definite system because of which there is stability in the course...apart from this, the college has the curriculum which enhances overall individual personality. The case-based pedagogy is the highlight...

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Here trimester pattern is followed because of which every three months we would be having exam..so there is an exam mode every time...also the case-based method is the main highlight...for 3 credit subjects 7 cases and for 2 credit subjects 5 cases are mandatory..then there is a two faculty system..where one faculty would explain theoretical aspect and the other would explain practical aspects of a subject..

Internships Opportunities

For marketing there were around 50 companies approaching for internship....but for HR it was arounf 20 and fir finance around 12...For finance companies like Edelweiss,Bharti,Moneyplant,Electronica Finance, Dreaminvest,Bank of India etc visited. The stipend provided by companies was from 5000 to 15000..

Placement Experience

3

There is a pool campus facility...so u can expect that around 350 finance students would be going for the competition for a job position during interview...Further there are many companies like Byjus,Karvy,Delloite,Aditya Birla etc come for placements.... Placement assistance to all the students are provided... however it ultimately boils down to the students to crack the interviews...

College Events

4

There are many events...the most important is Bhartiya Chhatra Sansad...and National Teacher's Congress then there are annual gathering and curricular activities taking place round the yrar...The MITSOB also has its little india food fest..then there are various sports activities organized by the sports club....around 16 clubs are there which organizes various activities for studrnts...

Fee Structure And Facilities

7 lakhs is yhe fees for two years for thw year 2018-2020..the fee would be paid in five installments...hence,burden is not there...the foreign tour is included in the fees...however visa harges are to be paid by tbe students...books are also inclusive...but uniform is i think not included from this batch...last year we had it inclusive...

Fees and Financial Aid

no scholarship...nd no tie ups with banks...the college would just provide the bonafide for loan applicants....

Campus Life

4.5

gender ratio is almost equal...In MBA Indian born are there nd in engineering u can expect some different countries students...further,there is a School of government which takes care of the politics part in the campus...then we have students who come from good family backgrounds and economic conditions...hence ,the environment is quite good and experience us amazing...

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel for girls is provided in the college campus...There are PG for both both boys and girls available at the back gate of MIT campus ...The facilities there are also good...they are value for money...There are various Mess options available at reasonable prices in the area...furthe tiffin services are also there....It doesn't really feel like away from home as the food is quite good...

Alumni/Alumna

The college has around 1 lakh alumini...they pay regular visits to the college and have interaction with students...one can also get in touch with them through social networking sites like LinkedIn,facebook etc...

Exam Structure

The exams are the most chilled part...its not very hectic...We have mid term, end term and a surprise test...so students tends to always be on exam mode...Further the evaluation is such that there is most stress on internal marks...hence exams are not that difficult or hectic...

Admission

There is a selection process held across different cities.I appeared for the selection process at Pune...There were three rounds..First,there is an essay writing, then elocution where we have to speak for at least three minutes on a given topic...then there is personal interview...

Faculty

3

Faculties in marketing and HR are quite good ... however finance faculties lack experience ...however they are very hardworking...they do their best to solve students queries...In finace during the fourth trimester most of the faculties are external...hence, lack of experience doesn't have much impact...

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Overall, I would say that I think this is a very unique course being offered by SP Jain and they are very strict with the submission timelines and quality of work. This is definitely is not a run off the mill part time MBA. The institute makes sure you sweat to earn your degree, respectfully!
