There are many clubs and communities where we can showcase our inner talents.

Dislikes

If you're from home state then forget about the hostels..!!! There is Shortage of hostel for students
I think that our college has small campus area.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had opt for mining engineering. Since I am in first year now, we are being tought about the basic concepts of engineering and mathematics. We can apply the concept in real world, like in 1st semester we had a subject called Basic Electrical Engineering , we learned about the working of transformers. We have only two exams one mid semester exam and another one is end semester exam with Difficulty level quite moderate.

Class Size: 95Course Fees: INR 550000 per year

Placement Experience

Yes ,our college provides many opportunities for on campus placement. After 4th semester students start applying for internships,from where they may get pre placement offers ( ppo's). Recently our 5 seniors had grabbed PPO from Microsoft company. Highest package offered was 55 lakh CTC & average package is around 10 LPA. Almost 80-85% students get placed whereas others choice for higher studies or prepare for other examinations. I would try for the GATE exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students belongings to ST \ SC and students whose family income is lower than 1 lakh gets full 100% tution fee wavier. Students whose family income is between 1-5 lakh gets 2\3 tution fee wavier. Students can apply for many private and government scholarships like reliance foundation scholarship,NSP, state Post metric etc. Since my family income is less than 1 lakh so I get 100% tution fee wavier, so I had to pay only 8k per semester as fees. Total cost of my education will be around 4- 5 lakh which includes all my personal expenses.

Campus Life

Our college has vast number of clubs and communities like sanskriti (cultural club),shourya ( sports club),i-cell ( innovation club) etc. Many fests like Eclectika (cultural fest), Technocracy ( tech fest), Samar ( sports fest), Avinya ( Innovation Fest) etc. are being organized. If you will interact with others and make new friends then you'll have the best college life. Each and every classroom has projectors, green board etc.

Admission

I had got admission via my JEE mains rank. We had been allotted college during counseling process done bye national testing agency (NTA). Every student with PCM subjects in class 12 are eligible for the exam. They must prepare wisely & didn't lose the hope. They must be consistent with their preparation. Jee mains is conducted by NTA.

from 4th semesters companies started to hire students as their interns. and most of the 7th semester students get offer letters . The average placement of my department is 3 lakh per year. 25 percentage of students are getting placed in the collage placement

NIT RAIPUR, AN HIDDEN GEM

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are decent, average package is somewhere around 10-11 LPA and lowest around 4 LPA where are the highest is around 65 LPA. around 70% of students get placed through campus placement. As this is an NIT, there are many intership opportunity and stipend varis from 10,000-35,000 per month. Companies like Adobe, AMD, Intel, Microsoft provide intership opportunities in this college and over 20% students get properly paid internships

Placement Experience:

Collage provides the best placements in the whole chattishgar, it is one of the few collages in the whole country which have a dedicated drone learning ecosystem. In the 2020-2024 session averge placement is around 11.6 LPA, with the higest pakage of 34LPA and lowest of 3.6LPA. Accourding to ratio of eligible candidate and placed candidate, 9-0 percent of then get placed. Not only the placements, collage also helps in finding internships as well.

NIT Raipur (The Fastest Developing NIT)

Some major points where NIT Raipur stands out over the other colleges. It's Placements, being an NIT it's decent enough for anyone choosing a college in a peaceful and affordable city like Raipur. It's Alumni connections, that make the college foundation really strong. The Student Culture is really good for personal growth, for someone who is still figuring out his/her career NIT RR could be a really good college for them.
