Likes

College is at good location in Haridwar, and on the bank of river
Campus have much more greenery , and airy grounds
Faculty and senior are so helpful in projects and tech fest

Dislikes

It is 8 km away from main campus hostel, we feel laziness in comming college
Mess food are average , some time it bored us
Well featured canteen is not available, and less number of fest organized

Here Couse curriculum are so good , all class runs on time , all subjects are presents here lab are provided , In CSE all facucty are well experienced and helpful In improvement I think ,they should proved more seminars There are 2 sessional exam after one month intervals , and after that semester exam get conducted

In college this colle we have to aplly for the internship , in company's At the post of front end developer and back end develop , and some opportunities are also available mobile development It is hard to get internship in Amazon google and Microsoft becat these companies don't reach out this college

Overall experience on campus is average The faculty of engineering is separated from the main campus and it is 8 km away from the main campus The campus is of 250 Acers but not well settled Buildings are old fashioned, infrastructure is under development

Here admission process go through the jee mains I have applied for jee main , then give the exam and I score 90 percentile and after I have register for councilling , in CSAB the I got guruku kangri university faculty of engineering and technology in CSE , and then come to college for reporting , admission committee verify the documents and done my registration

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Engineering in Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University. Firstly we need 12th pass with 75% marks then crack the jee mains examination and sit in the josaa counseling then go into the csab counseling after the counseling crl rank under the 1lakh .
