Likes

I like the weather of this place it is peaceful and beautiful.
There is only one hostel for first year of around 200 rooms so you can interact with all the first year students.
Collage often conduct some sports tournaments so you if you are a sports person you love that.

Dislikes

The placement rate and average package is low.
The food of mess is moderate it can be improved.
There are no girls in this collage so this could be a dislike for some people.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose computer science because demand of computer engineers and also my interest.Courses in computer science vary greatly. The relevance and comprehensiveness of the courses will depend on the particular program or institution. A good computer science curriculum should cover fundamental topics such as algorithms, data structures and programming languages, as well as more advanced topics such as artificial intelligence, databases and software engineering. Practical relevance of the curriculum can be improved by participating in real-world projects and building relationships with industry. You can evaluate the overall quality of a program by looking at reviews, alumni feedback and the expertise of the faculty.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee is fixed for all four year and it's affordable also the hostel fee is very impressive. The fee for computer science in this collage is around 130000 and 45000 for hostel for one year.collage doesn't provide you any scholarships you can apply for your state or cast scholarship.

Campus Life

I would say campus life is good.collage conducts sports events fresher's part and all that.students provid groups for internship oppertunities.the classeoom is good. Banches mad of wood and good quality.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is good. You get 24*7 water, electricity and 3 times food.food quality is moderate. You get a medal cabad and a bad ,a chair and a table.here are 3 kinds of rooms available 2 seater, 3 seater , 4 seater. There is cricket ground near hostel you can play there.

Hostel Fee: INR 45000 per year

Admission

You have to clear jee main exam for this collage. You can get this collage on around 87 percentile. NTA conducts jee main every year in January and April. Yes you get benefits on your catagory. The placement rate of this collage is not so good.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Engineering in Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University.
