An Average Review of IIT Madras

As I am in Chemical engineering department so in this department, initially in 1st year and 2nd year they will teach us thermodynamics and mathematical parts used in the chemical industries. And from 3rd onwards it feels like real word scenario. They teach about industrial knowledge and application based.

For the intership season around 70+ companies visited for the interview till now and many people got the summer internship. Average sttipend of the company are aroung 1 lakh, because some company offer 1.5 lakh and more and some will provide 50k, 70k.

Campus placement is average many big company come for interview. Each year 70%+ students get the placement and their dream job. My plan after getting degrees to do job in software company for initial face and post that some business.

So we have to pay tution fee,mess fees along with hostel fees and other hospital, exam etc. tution fees varies on catagory from 70k to 100k and the hostel and mess fees same for everyone, it is 32k per semester. There is mcm scholarship provide by college to some students in ehich mess fees is waived.

Technical fest of IIT Madras is Shaasta which first word's ISO certified. And the annual fest of IIT Madra Saarang. There are many clubs in this fest. Apart from this we have many clubs which are operated by student body. Eveythis is done by student only. Campus is ever green. I love the campus, it is full of Deer, monkeys, cats, black bug. With large forest.

We have 15 boys hostelq and 6 girls hostel. Hostels are some new but some are old but renewated. From 3rd year onwards we will be given a single room for each student. Andin 2nd year and 1st double and triple sharing rooms. There is 4 mess we can chose any mess for a month. There different hostel for pg.

So basically admision is vased on the JEE Advance exam, based on this exam we get into different IITs and different branches. One more facility is only at IT Madras is that it provides online BSc program to anyone who want degree from IIT Madras. For the admission we have prepare from any coaching institutes in which they teach us to solve the problem which will be coming in the exam, they teach concept to solve the question because each year question paer is different and question are new to everyone.
