Likes

Ease of access. It is all done on the cloud with the help of Google.
Quick responses. The response times are very quick and you will never feel lost.
Amazing faculty. They know what they’re doing.

Dislikes

No campus life. Understandable but would still have been fun.
No sense of Alma matter. Feels like a coursera thing.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very good. It starts off very easy, building core concepts and extrapolates from it, in the later stages. It's focused very much on the fact that these skills will run the next generation. The faculty is amazing and they keep live sessions, every week, to clear all the doubts. It is like an online college, with the infrastructure done right.

Class Size: 18000Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is easy. Based on your performance, you have a CCC (course clearing capability). The maximum CCC is 4 and allows you to take 4 courses. You can still opt to choose any number of course per semester or even drop a semester and take a break. Every course costs 4000/- and hence you can do the math. An year has 3 sems. So at max CCC, at max courses, you will take a hit of 4*4000*3 = 36000/- per year. There are aids available and the placement cell does its best to provide on-campus lab jobs, etc.

Campus Life

There is no inherent campus life, apart from the few visits that you can take there for fests and other stuff. But they've ensured community. You get alloted a house and every city has its own group of people doing the same degree. You can get along, study and do a lot of things. There are even movie nights and hackathons and a lot more. There are clubs. I am part of Amartya, the financial club and it's fantastic. We meet people and talk to them, online of course. Famous people like CEOs and founders. It is a blast. Best for an online thing, at least.

Admission

I entered through the JEE mode. So, I got into IITM BS course by scoring 80% in my 12th grade and by clearing JEE main. The forms and fee structure is available on their website. Benefits apply for reservation class. Exams happen thrice in a semester. Quiz 1, 2 and End Sem. They begin easy but the course gets very difficult, real soon. They do the IIT brand justice.

IIT Madras is magnificent!!

Placement Experience:

Apollo Hospital to Greens and many medical and hospital which are engaged in hospitals or building technology that supports it. Our course is still not that old and in the batches that have passed out so far, I think the average stands at some 10 lakhs or so.

IITM BS DEGREE - a game changer in distant education

Placement Experience:

After the sixth test students become eligible for the campus placements, there are many companies. Many high-level companies who visit the campus like the Microsoft, Google, Adobe, and TCS Infosys and many more the number of marriage, I can tell you the ratio, one students get approximately 8-9 offers. The highest package was approximately 1.0 2CR.

BS in Electronic system from IIT Madras

Placement Experience:

BS in data science students have completed their 1st batch and got highest placement of 23 lacs and average of 8 lacs . So placement of electronic system will also revolve around this figure. After 3rd year students are eligible for placements. Most of the Bengaluru based tech company visited for this degree holders. I have a plan to go for higher studies abroad after completing this degree.

Placement Experience:

Everyone got placement somewhere or in campus in different paths . For a good placement like 70 la.khs to 1 crore you need to study from 1st year . Study means do your homework time to time and follow the faculty. Highest package 7 crore Average package 25 lakhs Minimum package 10 lakhs Companies like - meta, Amazon , Google ,tata all big , medium , and small companies arrived because it's iit madras ( nirf -1 ) Students become eligible for placement in 4th year. My plan is for startup.

Placements in IITs are commmendable. Our average package is 22 lacs overall. Coming to my branch. Highest package offered was 55 lacs and lowest was 6 lacs . Average package offered was around 15 lacs per annum. Many companies including Google, Microsoft, Goldman sachs etc. visit here for campus placements.

It's online yes, it's called the first copy IITians

Placement Experience:

Placement statistics are low for now as the course is new but the highest package as far as I know was 25 lpa and avg package is around 8-9 lpa. It's not really about the package but the opportunities IIT Madras opens for you. My plan is to get a master's degree in the same field and continue from there.

I choose this college over the another colleges because it is the best degree degree over the BTech from low level or tier three tier four colleges, I was having many options for T3 colleges BTech CSE, but I chose this because I think it's the best I apply to SRMS Bareilly University all the colleges I was confirmed, but I chose this college because it was providing me latest curriculum and data science is very new in this. The admission process for this degree is like if you will register in a term, you have to pay. Thousand rupee registration fee. After that you will get a syllabus of one month or we can say four weeks you have to do that, and after that, you will be having exam, you have to pass the exam with more than 50%....Read More
