- The fest MERAZ....which I would waiting all year.
- Food add ons. I might say...we do have max all types of chicken recipes.

Dislikes
- Basic food... without salt and masala...eating rotis everyday is kind of boring.
- Visiting places...there were a very few here...we need to go long for some.
- The city is dusty everywhere🫠my native place is better .
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is quite good. And the permanent campus of IIT Bhilai has been finished with a little work here and there. We have a good faculty here...on an average my class of CS contains 60 students but the student strength increases year by year. The faculty here come from different IITs and a very qualified state of education, some who made their higher education in abroad ,etc., Here we have semester exams in 1.5 or 2 months with quizzes, presentations and assignments in between. The grading system is well.But the thing is that you need to write to the point and it's quite difficult to pass some courses.
Internships Opportunities
Major internship recruiters here are Trilogy, NVIDIA, Intuit, Thoucentric, Truminds, Perceptive Analytics, Sigmared,etc., We received more than 90 internship offers in summer of 2023. We receive a good stipend too.
Placement Experience
We have a record of 100% placement from our branch CSE with an average package of 27.43LPA. Students start doing internships from 3rd year mostly with placements at the end of 4th year. Different companies like Amazon, Accenture,Google, Tata, Microsoft, etc., visit here. The Highest package this year is 48 LPA .
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of study is quite high here. I really hate to say that we aren't given washing machines yet...for which we were asking for so long????. We need to pay nearly 1.5 lakhs every semester. We do have scholarships based on certain criteria and they will be provided for only those who are eligible.
Campus Life
We have various clubs here swara, , beathackers, epsilon, EBSB, neer passe, Goals ,Robotics which involve a lot of activities and participation in Inter IIT.We play sports like volleyball, basketball, badminton, TT, yoga, football, cricket,...We also have NSS which is the team of service. Glad to say that....our 300 seater classrooms resemble a theatre and we have the biggest Library. Our fest is MERAZ which we have for 3-4 days. MERAZ is generally conducted in winter.
Admission
IIT Bhilai Cut off rank was 4029 for CSE in 2022. The admission process was through JOSAA after attempting JEE MAINS and JEE ADVANCED. You can apply for these through JEE portal. The eligibility for this course is based on the rankings given by the institute.You need to refer previous year rankings for a better idea and you can estimate the present year ranking based on the previous years.
