IIT Bhilai College Review

As a recent pass out, i can confidently say that the curriculum were relevant and comprehensive with strong emphasise on foundation knowledge and emerging technologies The curriculum exelled in preparing students for real world application through hands on laboratory session, intry oriented projects and internship. However there is a room for improvement.The curriculum could benefit from more elective courses incutting-edge areas like Quantum Computing, Adnace Robotics. The Frequency and timing pf exam were well Structures but sometime It could become hectic due to 3 to 4 exams per day.

Jindal stainless, cunomial and vardhan consulting were some of the companies which came for the internship. everyone were given different task some of them were given website development, some were given analytical research work.

the placements are decent. From 7th semester students become eligible for placement. Some of the companies like hexaware and Infosys visited and around 150 offers were made. highest were 48 lakh/annum offered by Accenture and average is of 1000000/annum which is more or less same for all department. 65 percent student got placed I am also in working profession

fees per year - 270000 Tution fees - 200000 Mess fees - 46000 hostel fees - 16000 Others - 8000 for SC/ST, Tution fees = 0 and all others were same Mess fees and hostel fees are variable, it changes per year but tution fees are fixed. Apart from this there are many scholarship vailable some of them are merit cum d=scholarship and SC/ST scholarship which provides some amount of money to the students monthly.

The annual and technical festival is Meraz which is held in November. There are differnt types of books including novels, course related books, jounals, research paper. Anyone one can issue any book. There were no restriction. It was a smart class whith all the software and tools. Multiple sports were offered at the school incliding football, cricket, badminton, table tennis volleyball. and chess and all were free for all. Yes there were multiple clubs like dance club, singing club, designing club. all the clubs focus on student to enhancing some certain skills.

We were given One bed, table chair for each. and it was two person sharing room with wifi and AC. Meals were average and menu include nonveg on wednesday, friday and sunday. Registration of hostel is done at the time of admission

I have applied for all other 1st gen and 2nd gen IITs including iit Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT kanpur, etc. I got this college because of my rank. No I didn't get rejected. My rank were low to get admission in those colleges One have to Given fist JEE Main exam if he gets qualified then he has to give JEE Advance exam after qualifing JEE advance exam he has to apply for counselling hoosing all college priority wise. Then he will be allothed his college according to his/her rank. Then In college he has to complete all registration adn documentation..

Faculty to student ratio was approx 50 to 1000. the relationship between student and faculty was very good, all faculties were approchable. We could talk with them freely withut any hesitation whether the talk was about about study or some personal matter. I liked rajesh mundotiya sir the most and he was the ML teacher. He was the most friendly teacher. But all facuklties were great. There were no faculties whom i Didn't liked. In one semester there were 3 exam, each after 25 days and the exam were easy to moderate. the studentrs who didn't studied not went to class they only fail.

Gym closes at 9 pm and so does library but public area is opened 24 hours. Morning to evening goes to the academics but from evening to next dat morning were the perfect time for fun and games. the famous hangout places were night canteen and football ground. Yes the localities were safe.
