Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as I was interested in this after cse . The faculty here was good and syllabus was updated according to latest ugc policy.new course are being included in upcoming years. Exams will be conducted on time and difficulty level is dependent.

Class Size: 53Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Internships Opportunities

In the first semester of 3rd year you will get companies for internships. You have to give interviews then. If can choose the company based on your interest in job role you want to do.At the end of 3rd year in your holidays you have to do the internship

Placement Experience

May be from 4th year you will get companies for placements. Few deserved people get PPO after their internship which is other story.every company has some cut off for cgpa to allow in placements. If you are talented enough you will surely end up with a good package

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees per semester is 63500 and hostel, mess fees is seperate. Scholarships like NSP and other will be provided based on the income range of the family and cast. Placement opportunities are good and reputed companies will come for placements

Campus Life

Campus is good and the culture is also good and still little to be improved.you can get good seniors rapo and you can maintain your social life as well with your friends.There are many technical and cultural clubs and few of them are active

Hostel Facilities

A hostel room will be provided with a table, chair,cot and A LAN port for boys hostel and wifi will be there in girls hostel.the mess food is so good but ok. Registration for hostel will be done with registration process in campus for first years and then it will be in online portal from 2nd year

Hostel Fee: INR 26000 per year

Admission

I got the admission through the national wide entrance exam called JEE MAIN. Where around 20 lakh people who completed their intermediate will write every year. Application for this examination will be given the NTA website and all the details from the application to counselling will be released through this site only.

Worth considering for your tech career

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Building Skills Beyond the Classroom

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Remembering College Valuble Insights Feels so memorable being a final year student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals,meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

Only 4-1 students are eligible for campus placements Name of companies are infosys, concentrix, foundever, teleperfomance, Sutherland,uts etc in that only few members got opportunity to join in that companies. Highest package is 3-4lakhs All the companies which were came to our clg placements are based on call center types only infosys is IT side remaining all companies came us to take for the roles bpo industry voice based roles and non voice based roles My plans after completing the degree to search for the job

Honest review on KMIT

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Reality of deccan college of engineering and technology

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Nice college but lot of improvements are required

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams

Campus placements do exist , and it really depends on the person not much on gpa the highest was 40lakhs per annum one time , the lowest was 3lakhs , it really varies time to time but nowadays with advancment in AI and more competition placements aren't really guaranteed
