Likes

The best thing I liked is placements and internship
I also liked the campus atmosphere as it is green
I also liked the hostels and friends from different regions

Dislikes

The main thing I hate in this college is mess food
I also don't like the fact that they are not providing some transport in the college itself as it is hyge
I also dislike the fact that some faculty is not good

Course Curriculum Overview

I opted mechanical engineering as I was interested in dealing with machines and the teachers of nit warangal is good except some faculty but every teacher is highly educated in top iits .The exams are moderate and they conduct max of 4 exams for each course mid semester and end semester and 2 minor exams some times minor exams may not conduct as a wish of teachers

Class Size: 73Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I was still a second-year student so I didn't know much about internship opportunities but our seniors said that they were many internship opportunities given to the students from different companies

Placement Experience

The placements in nit warangal is really huge nearly 95 percent students get placements in every branch. I intended to write gate and want to get a government job .The highest package offered toll now is 88 lakhs per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

We get scolarships according to the income of the family and the fees also reimbursed according to the income. Scolarships include Nsp and some other .If we have a income greater than 8 lakhs we have to pay 120000 per year as a Mechanical Engineering student

Campus Life

There are 2 major fests in every year they are technozoin and springspree.All extra curricular activities and sports are encouraged and there are so many clubs like robotics ,poetry,music,dance etc ..and The library we got is very good

Hostel Facilities

I had been staying in hostel for 28000 per year in the college itself but food is not included in it,We have to pay mess fees seperate to the mess each day for 115 rupees. The food is not good as they were the private contractors

I written JEE mains examination and secured 97.5 percentile .Under ews category I got a seat in NIT warangal.All details of college is provided in nitwarangal official website .The admission process is good

Worth considering for your tech career

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Building Skills Beyond the Classroom

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Remembering College Valuble Insights Feels so memorable being a final year student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals,meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Only 4-1 students are eligible for campus placements Name of companies are infosys, concentrix, foundever, teleperfomance, Sutherland,uts etc in that only few members got opportunity to join in that companies. Highest package is 3-4lakhs All the companies which were came to our clg placements are based on call center types only infosys is IT side remaining all companies came us to take for the roles bpo industry voice based roles and non voice based roles My plans after completing the degree to search for the job

Good academics , poor facilities

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start from final year. A few core companies and bulk hiring companies visit with average packages , overall placement percentage is average . So I plan to build more skills and purse better opportunities after graduation

Honest review on KMIT

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Nice college but lot of improvements are required

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams

Campus placements do exist , and it really depends on the person not much on gpa the highest was 40lakhs per annum one time , the lowest was 3lakhs , it really varies time to time but nowadays with advancment in AI and more competition placements aren't really guaranteed
