Here I conclude saying that there won't be good or bad from college. Always colleges will give us good things. It depends on students as for how one utilizes the resources provided by the college.
Entrance Preview
I took TSEAMCET to come into Osmania University. I scored 100/160 marks and was ranked 3469. Actually, my main aim is to become computer science engineer. So I opted Computer Science and Engineering in Osmania University. I opted Osmania University because it is the best college in Telangana for Engineering through TSEAMCET. And also it has quality education with talented professors. And it also has 100% placements in computer science department.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very good. In the first year, we had all the subjects which are the basis for each and every department. From second year we had subjects of our own department. There are labs too which helped us to develop our practical skills. In the second year, we had mini project wherein we worked as a team and learned professionalism. In the third year to we did some projects. In summer we have to do internship and there are credits for this too. And in final year we have to do main project.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, our college provides summer internship for those students who all are interested to do. There is no stipend but the letter of summer internship will be given.
College Events
Coming to events we have technical fests separately for each department. Infinity for cse, Nirmaan for civil, Aakruthi for ece, Mecharena for mechanical, Techsonance for eee and medical for bme. We have cultural fest Amusant. We will also have global alumni meets, sportsmania and annual day award functions.
Fees and Financial Aid
Actually, the government provides the scholarship for merit students in EAMCET exam. Mess fee also will be provided in this scholarship for one year.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni will be the first one to help in anything like fest or any events. Seniors will guide us. If we have any doubts they clarify for us.
Exam Structure
We have two semesters per year. And for each semester we have two internals exams and one external exam. Same with labs. We will have one internal exam and one external exam. But these exams won't leave us with hectic days. Instead, we can prepare a for them chilling and can get good results. It all depends on how you plan
Admission
My first option was Osmania University. When the results came I got Osmania University. I came to college on 3rd August, 2015. I filled all the forms needed and paid the admission fee for college and hostel and joined in hostel. Administration was very helpful in the entire process of joining.
Faculty
The professors are well qualified. They are well educated from different universities. The faculty will be very interested to encourage students in various activities related to studies or sports etc. But faculty will be irregular sometimes.
