A Brief Glance to Shoolini University

I always wanted to write and writing is my passion journalism suited perfectly my passion, also i always had a dream to be a journalist and to be on camera that was the main reason I opted for Journalism, The faculty is experienced and also from the respected field, Vipin Pubby heads the Department of Journalism, having 40 years of experience, being an editor and he is experienced and guides us well on our future endeavors, The faculty is from diverse fields, one is from theory and the professor from the HPU University and other faculties have their experience in Radio, TV Journalism and advertisement and Print Media. The Term Exams are based on a practical basis, we are assessed based on assignment, like Sting Operation, Documentary, and a full Fledge Media Bulletin.

I was personally allowed to join as an intern in ABP News and had a great experience there all because of the faculty recommendation, also we had done a internship with NEWSHOUND Foundation that collabrated with our university, and I also had a great experience interning at my university for marketing department

The institution offers 100% Placement support to the students, and also the institution trains every student for placement drives through the SPRINT program which gives an orientation to the student to an industrial environment. The average package of Journalism is 4-5 Lpa. The highest package of Mba is around 16LPA and the average package is around 7-6 LPA.

There is an appropriate fee Relaxation and fee structure for our batch that is 2021-2024, now the policy have been changed that every semester the fees go up , we are not in the list and our courses have been good from the 1st year, I don't exactly know about the scholarship policy.

The Life in Shoolini sums up ur college life including every aspect of fun, shoolini provides you with the serene beauty at the same time quality education, the cultural life is great here, and we regularly have cultural programs which make our college days more fun, we have several clubs like photography club and also various club that can help us to learn various other things other than our regular circular, We have projectors around all the classes and also contains smart classes, We have specialized Labs for microbiology, food tech, fields fro zoology and agriculture and labs regarding Biotech. Other than this we have badminton court and basketball in the campus and also Yuvraj Singh Complex and Stadium that contains many facilities. We have clubs Like YCC Young Communicators Club that helps to build a persoanlity.

The hostel facility is good but somewhat costly but it is really good in the mountains and offers a great facility. The hostels are managed by GHS Good Host Spaces and are managed well. It is smooth process of opting the hostel and now it is compulsory to opt for the Hostel in your First year , you can choose your specific rooms and manage your well stay there.

In my course particularly, I have been informed about the eligibility criteria from College Dunia, It is an interdisciplinary course, and anyone can apply from various fields and disciplines. I completed high school with arts and Humanities, it was my passion to follow Journalism, I opted for a defence scholarship, and also for the scholarship depending upon my High School Grades, I got a 40% scholarship too. It was a smooth process of admission and it was really helpful to the counselors, there was an admission form and then there was a test common knowledge test and after that, I appeared for a personal interview. The Admission is readily available on websites and offline too, and the councilors would help you to find the appropriate process and course.

There was not a GD round but there was a personal interview round for the admission and the Interviewer was humble and asked about general questions on why did you opt for this course and what do you expect,
