Likes

The cultural events, art and enthusiasm.
The friendly nature of some of the faculties.
The four day long fest-SAHOSTSAVA. It's the durga puja of TIU

Dislikes

The ground is very small for sports and activities.
Sometimes the classes get cancelled without any early notice.
Finding room/space for cultural events becomes a hassle sometimes

Course Curriculum Overview

Techno India university is known for good placement. By seeing the past placement records and after I talked to my seniors too who were in TIU I opted for btech in TIU. But currently due the recession I guess, comparatively less companies are coming. All the faculties are well qualified.Few faculties are really good. 40 to 60 students are there in each batch. The difficulty of the questions depends on the faculty who is preparing the question set. Two exams are taken in a semester-MTA(mid term assessment) 20 marks and ESA(End semeter assessment) 70 marks. Marks of attendance and theory assignment is also added.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 79000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

79000 is per semester fees+ 2000 per semester exam fees= 81,000.(Batch 2021-25) Please go through the website to know the current fee structure. College does not provide any scholarship but their are several scholarships you can apply provided by the government.

Campus Life

The Cultural fest at TIU is no doubt the best. A lot of events happens at the campus. I'm lead of the dance club here and I can assure you if you are an artist(acting, singing, dance, art, craft fashion, photography, editor) you will flourish here. These are clubs at TIU: Sanskaran-The cultural club Vivarta-Technical Club GDSC-Coding Club

Admission

Eligibility for Btech: 12th pass with PCM and English as compulsory subjects+WBJEE/JEE Main/TNJEE. I took admission through TNJEE. I went to the admission cell gave the exam in online mode. The exam was aptitude based and the duration was 30 mins. I scored 80%. By reviewing my 10th, 12th marks and the TNJEE marks I was qualified. GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.
