All faculty members are so friendly and down to earth with all sudents.
Cultural programs are very exciting and enjoying which everyone finds so entertaining.

Dislikes

There is lack of faculty members for every branch.
There is no wifi facility in laboratories.

Course Curriculum Overview

•I chose this course because through this i can go for IT as well as for some government jobs. •For every 10 students 1 faculty member is available for us. •Most of the faculty members are highly qualified and they taught us in the way so that we can understand everything easily. •Here we have two term exams odd and even, which are held twice in a year. And these exams are quite hard to believe pass.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

•The fees structure is quite affordable for most of the students. The course fee of all branch is as follows: Computer Science and Engineering - 4,41,000 rupees. •Basically there are two scholarship available SVMCM and Oasis. If any student is good in studies but financially weak then college helps then by reducing their fees. Those who have passed from this college Pproximately they got a minimum annual package of 3 lakhs and a maximum of 12 lakhs.

Campus Life

•Every year for new freshers there is freshers welcome and between the month of feb and march there is a cultural fest. •There are various kind of books and journals available in our college library and can be accessed and borrowed with library card. •In some classes there is a facility of smart screen where students can learn through visualization. •Each and every year there is annual sports and inter college sports competition held in our own or different college. There are also different cultural programs on different venue. •We have no such social groups, clubs or websites run by students.

Admission

•Those who have passed the higher secondary exam are eligible for admission process. •You have to visit college website to find the application form, application fees and application dates. •Eligible students (students with good rank in competitive entrance exam or sc, st students) could get some discounts in semester fees. •The admission process is totally through online method, if there is any offline method then it would be helpful for some students.

IIT KGP: The kgpian way

Placement Experience:

4 yr btech students are eligible for cdc internship from the starting of their 3rd yr(5th sem) and for placement 7th sem. 5 yr dual degree students are eligible for cdc internship from the starting of 4th yr(7th sem) and for placement 9th sem. So many different profile companies came for placements like amazon, google, ibm, apple, l&t, wipro, infosys, texas intrument, etc. Highest package was 3cr and average is about 20-25 lakhs. Insightful Review - Revealing about campus life and academics.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semeter. Companies visited till now are : tejes - 9lpa, keysite - 7lpa, streebo - 5lpa and a few other product based companies with average pakage offered about 3lpa. Higest pakage - salesforce (32 lpa) off campus, keysite (7lpa) on campus. Last year 60% of total students from final year got placed. My plans is to purusue a higher degree as placement scene of your college is not that great and also i have intrest in ai/ml so i want to study future and dive more deep into its concepts

The course curriculum is not that different from other colleges. At the beginning or 1 st semester we are made to complete the bridge course which basically includes stuff we read in classes 11 and 12. But then also they can't teach properly the already read topics.

GMIT IS THE BEST ENGINEERING COLLEGE IN SOUTH 24 PARGANAS

I am really satisfied with the facilities that the college provides us

I came to know about this college through a pre-counseling seminar after WBJEE. Once I got information about the college I visited the campus and was really impressed after meeting the faculty members and visiting the workshop and campus. I got admitted to the college in June, 2019. I preferred this college because I loved the environment of the college campus and certainly the infrastructure.
