Course Curriculum Overview
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is on high demand in the upcoming years. So the scope of job will be more. moreover the future prospect in this field is quiet more. The college has more than 600 students only in CSE department (along with sub streams) in the first year. It has other departments like Mechanical, Civil engineering nad lot more. It does not have enough faculty for the students , but some faculty members are best in there departments. Some faculties have good teaching method which made the subject easier and more interesting. The term exams are held every six month ..... the question paper level is moderate. Anyone can follow the past year papers to pass the examination.
Placement Experience
From the end of 6th Semester, the students get eligible for campus placements. Mostly companies like TCS, Capegemini, Mindtree, Wipro,Delloitte visit the college campus for placements. This year the highest package was offered 27 lpa and the lowest is 5 lpa. The college offers 100% students placement every year. Around 90% of the students got placed this year due to recision. I would rather like to persue MBA course after getting the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure for CSE AI & ML department for academic course 2023-2027 is 5,50,000.As per the institution's sudden notice , the fees may increase by 1 lakh. The management system is very poor. Suddenly they increase the course fee by more than 1 lakh rupee and they don't even give any justification for the sudden increament. Students those who belong from West Bengal can apply to all scholarships provided by the government. According to the past placement records the college provides job with annual package of 4.5 lpa to 5.5 lpa.
Campus Life
Only one annual fest is hosted by the college. It takes place mostly in the month of February or March. Jis Samman is also a fest that takes place every year. Library contains ample number of books and journals that can meet most of the students demand. Some classrooms are provided with smart boards and televisions for better learning. The classrooms are quiet spacious with a capacity of 70 students. Evey classroom has podium for the better view of the teacher. The college has its own football team and cricket team , it has activities like yoga, gym , table tennis board. The college has many clubs like dance, music, drama etc but the clubs are inactive the whole year. the clubs get active before any kinds of programme.
Admission
I got admission through WBJEE entrance exam . Eligibility of the course is that the student should atleast secure 60% in 12th science stream.I took admission in the year 2023 in BTECH AI & ML through WBJEE rank 16099.
