Overview of MAIT(Maharaja Agarsen Institute of Technology)Delhi college

my course is Btech in Computer Science & Technology It is same as CSE with some minor changes. It is a nice course and is considered well by the recruiters. The faculty student ratio for classes is about 8:1 and for labs is about 4:1. The gender ratio in the college for BTech is not very grate about 8:1 (boys:girls). Faculty is well qualified and takes effort in teaching the students. As always some teachers have very great teaching style and some does not as good teaching style to be honest. Their is a mid term exam after one and half month and end terms after same duration(the timing of exams can change , in our time 2nd mid term also occured) . Their are internal and external practicals also in between mid and end terms. The level of the mid term and end term is decent. But checking in mid term is little harder. except for calculative subjects(maths,electrical,derivtions in physics) other subjects can be wind up in 1 months for 8 above cgpa.

students becomes eligible for the placements by the end of the 3rd year. elite companies- IBM, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Goldman saches, JP morgan mass recruiters-TCS,Wipro,HCL, Accenture, Infosys, Cognizant etc according to data more than 80% of students gets placement and the hightest package was of 42 lakh on campus by Amazon and 57 lakh off campus by microsoft in 2022. Its avrage package is about 9 lpa and 13lpa for tech branches. to get a good placement it is important to cope with market skills like coading and management (to be honest like most institutes here also students have to do the skill development by themself by participating and self learning).

there are no extra fees other than the yearly fees but their are fines for short attendance(try to have attendance more than 30%) fine is about 5000 their is an avalability of book bank also which provides books according to the samester syllabus, it takes 5000 ruppes which is refundable after the end of college studies. though, at current the fees is consistent and not inflating as it comes under state government's guidelines. their are some scolarship sponsored by the state government and the central governmnet and their is some meritious scholarship also

some hackathons and tech based orientations occurs in the college and tech societies also organises some fests but their are very less cultural fests or fun activities books are very much avalable in the library and ethernet is also avalable at the ground floor of the library. classrooms are clean and fine with ac(though not very effecient in cooling). the sports in the college is not very attractive, their is a volleyball court , basketball court, small football ground(about 350m2), tennis area(self brought equipments) and a bedminton court(paid 100rs per hour) their are active dance and drama societies also but their are less programmes occuring related to it their are many study material like ipu wallah (app) and study buddy (youtube channel),akash(ipu sample paper book). their are many discord groups, whatsapp groups for the shairing of notes and for discussion.

Eligibility of the course Jee main exam. Rank for tech branch(CSE, CST, IT, ITE, AIML, etc.) above 1.2 lakh for general. Registration in GGSIPU counseling. For application details - visit the GGSIPU website and register for the btech course (code 131) There will be 3 rounds and a spot round( may change) Cast based and EWS reservation are avalable there is a 10% reservation for MANAGEMENT QUOTA also the admission process is a little bit irregular which should be improved
