Likes

SSTC atmosphere as they have planted so many plants and trees.
Apart from studies, they help in personality development.
Faculties are well educated and also friendly in nature.

Dislikes

They give only 1 month time after starting of semester for fees and sfter due date they charge fine.
They don't allow low attendence student to appear on class test.
They don't clean their toilets and not maintain the building.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course to become Software Engineer. Faculties are highly educated as well as friendly towards students. Faculties are highly professional. And their teaching method is just awesome. If students learn wisely and attend regular class they will easily pass.

Class Size: 500Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companis like Cognizant, capegemini, infosys, tcs, etc. Offer internships and stipent. Stipent will be minimum of Rs. 20000. Mostly the stipend is based on students skills. During summer student can do internship in any companies they want.

Placement Experience

From 3rd year student are eligible for campus placement. Many Companies like Capegemini, Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, etc. Visited for campus placement in SSTC. The macimum package student get is Rs.8,00,000 Per annum .

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees of b.tech in SSTC college is Rs. 80,000 per year and Rs. 40,000 per semester which includes exam fees, library fees, sports fee, etc. They also offer scholarship for ST, SC OBC students whose family income is less than Rs. 2,50,000 per annum.

Campus Life

Student really enjoy their college life as SSTC conduct many annual fest like SAMVID. And in also conduct fest in many festival like Navaratri, Holi etc. Also they confuct Tech Fest so that student can learn many things and become better in their field.

Admission

Student can take admission by giving CGPET entrance college Students who got more marks are elegible for Course. Also some student can take admission by giving JEE MAINS exam. Or they can get direct admission by visiting college directly.

Life at GEC Raipur

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible to appear for campus placements which starts towards the end of their 7th semester. Companies that visited for Civil Engineering: L&T, Adani, Stratview Research, PlanetSpark and several local firms. The highest packages were offered by Adani (approx 7 LPA) and L&T (6-7 LPA). Around 5-7 students received placement offers from the mentioned companies. My College Review- insight from NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester, the placement starts. Till now around 30-40 snrs have placed. All the good snrs I know and have already been placed. Companies like- Caterpillar, Schneider Electric, JSL, JSPL, JWL, netarwala, Amazon, Dassault System, Reliance, phonepe, Deloitte, come to our college.

Yeah ,the course in terms of comprehensiveness is really satisfactory. I have some issues with sequence of subjects which are covered ,but there is no compromise with the comprehensiveness. So I would rate good that too .

NIT Raipur Review: Where knowledge meets real world engineering.

Placement Experience:

1. Students from seventt semester and onwards are eligible for the campus placements. 2. There are ample numbers of comapnies visited in our college like schneider electric, bpcl,bhel,bhel,reliance,catterpillar,eil, and so on. As per the last year data around 130 comapnies made in to our campus and they offered around 800 plus offers to various studenst of different departments. 3. The highets package offered this year is 60 lakhs that is offered by DE Shaw and average package is something around 11 laks per annum 4. Taking considerations of students of all departments, almost 70 percent students get placed. 5. Presently my plan after getting degree is to get into a job.

This course I think has a very bright future as the cheap making industry is everywhere and in futue AI will require physical component which will be full filled by this department so this will be fulfeeling the real word application however the course maybe more practical.
