I choose the course on the basis of word of mouth, many of mine friends have done btech there. Faculty - The faculty is average in MCA in gla you will get only 1-2 good teacher and other teachers teach just by ppts not practical explanation. In 2022-24 batch 250 students have taken the admission and every year it increases by 80-100 students. Faculties are qualified here you will get to see Mtech and 1-2 PhD qualified Exams are timely here in a semester two exams are held one is mid-term and other is end term, mid-term is easy to pass and end term is a bit difficult and semester results is prepared by combining the marks of midterm and end term. Out of 80 you need 28 marks for passing and 20 marks are of internal.

In btech form semester 6th students are get eligible for placement and in MCA from 2nd semester students are get eligible for placement. 100-130 company are visitied for year 2023 and in btech out of 1400 last year students only 190-200 students got offer and in MCA out of 250 students only 15-20 student got offer. In year 2023 placements are severely affected by the recession. Highest package offer in btech is 55LPA by Njuma Tech( student grabed the offer off-campus but college doesn't show that). Average package is 5LPA and the roles offers are software Engineer, frontend developer, Quality assurance, Content writer , event manager etc. In year 2023 only 7-10% students got placed MCA and in btech only 15-20% . I am looking for a job after my degree.

Here in MCA tution fees per year is 142000 and additionally Rs 13000 refundable security deposit and Rs 6000 exam fees is taken. Tution Fees increase Rs 3000 every year. UP Scholarship is provided to students and there are many scholarships for female students. In MCA may small to mid size startups companies comes for placement providing package of 3 LPA to 8 LPA and some big service based companies like Accenture, Camgemni also comes and 1 product based company comes providing package of 19LPA. MCA students mostly have to sit along with Btech students for placement. In year 2023 out of 250 students only 15-20 students have received placement offers and placements are still going on in 2024. In 2022-24 batch placements are affected due to recession

GLA organizers a big annual fest named 'Spandan' during August - September and many small to big tech fests are organised by the students and guest lecturer are also held where some popular Ed tech youtuber is invited. GLA provide good library, you will get library in every blocks (total 10 blocks are there) and mostly every book is available there. Every room and labs are AC equipment and only one block is equipped with smart classrooms which is for btech students only. Many sports activities and tournaments are held in campus and inter-college tournament is also organised which includes both indoor and outdoor games. More than 10 clubs are there in gla like IOT club , social club etc.

Eligibility Criteria - Minimum 50% in graduation(BCA, BSC or any other equivalent bachelors course) Application form - There are offices of GLA University in main cities where you can get the application form costing 1000rs and they take a simple MCQ test for admission which consists of verbal ability and aptitude question (It is just a formality, they take you admission whether you have done good in the test or not) No reservation criteria is there. Admission -After the test in 1-2 days they ask you for the token fees to confirm the registration. Improvement needed in admission process - The whole admission process should be online of they must open office in small cities also
