Pros and Cons of BIT Mesra

I have got Btech in Artificial intelligence and machine learning. I chose this program because I have a lot of interest in deep learning and gtp. The faculty to student ratio are decent enough and the Qualification of Faculty members are next level i.e Some are graduated and had done phd from abroad and from IIT's There are a lot of exams in this college because the duration of semester is about 4 months. It is not difficult to pass exams.

A lot of Multi National Companies come in our college which offers a high package and even good internships i.e Google, Adobe, Atlassian,etc. Further, A total of 983 job offers were made during BIT Mesra placements in 2023. Apart from this, a total of 192 companies visited the campus during BIT Mesra placements of 2023.

From the end of 4th semester, Students are eligible for internships and from the end of 6th semester, Students are eligible for placements . The placements of Bit is very good and the average package of Cse is around 22.4 lpa and highest package of last year is 51 lpa.

The price hike of our college is surprising i.e. the total fees of Bit mesra including hostel and mess fees is about 18.5 lacks. But you can take acail scholarship to get some benefits i.e there are two types of scholarship available named Gp birla Scholarship worth around 2.25 crore. This scholarship is given on the basis of merit and need basis.

There are a lot of fests done in an year. "Bitotsav" is the annual and the best fest of Bit conducted during Feb-March and 'Pantheon' is the tech fest of Bit conducted during October. The Library of Bit is the best and there is a large sport complex present in Bit wich you can compare with Bigger IIt's because in sports complex, There are 3 cricket and football grounds , 3 badminton court and a lot of games. In case of clubs,There are two famous coding clubs(IEEE and IET) ,UNESCO(debate club),Robolution(robotics club),etc.

Room are bit small. Currently i am in a sharing room with one person. The speed of wifi is decent enough and the quality of mess food is good. During registration of academics , you can register. The hostel fees is around 20k and you have to maintain an advance payment of 30 k for mess.

The admission was simple i.e by using jee mains rank. As our college is on rank '1' from other Government funded colleges. So, You should have a good percentile in jee main to get admission in this college. To get admission in college , you should have to give jee mains examination and must have about greater than 95 percentile to get Circuital branch. Then after getting your rank you should have to apply for Jossa councilling and then csab councilling to get admission in Bit Mesra. The fees is little bit higher but returns are also the best??
