Likes

The placements were a 10/10 and with nothing to complain
The sports was decent keeping in the mind the space constraint.
The faculty is decent and is helpful sometimes.

Dislikes

The library could have been better with more options other than curriculum
The curriculum itself was outdated and not helpful in the current technological trends.
The wearing of id is compulsory, though it is to maintain discipline and dignity, at times it is irritating wearing it everyday and making it no different from a school

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was pretty outdated as it was affiliated to osmania university , The first year did not have any computer subjects and from second year some computer subjects were added, third and fourth years are completely computer oriented.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

The campus placements are top knotch for the college and the srudents are eligible from 6th semester. Many mac's have visited the college including amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, etc. The minimum package offered must be 6 lpa or else the company is not allowed into the college. Around 75% of students have been placed that too because of the ongoing recession , the previous year had a 100% placement record.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is really worth the opportunities and also the hike is just 5000 per year. The college has decent sports amenities and good placement along with AC's in some specific rooms like the auditorium

Campus Life

Regarding fests, they are held once a semester (not a grand one). The library only consists of books related to the osmania curriculum and no other different books. The classrooms are average with regular sweeping and fans. The area allocated for sports is limited but the college has done a good job in the limited space they have. The clubs are really passive and rarely operate.

Admission

The admission process was clean , it was either through EAMCET or through management quota, I secured a rank of 7122 and I could easily get in to CSE. The only demerit is the time it takes for admission process , I had to wait for 2 months after my EAMCET results.

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum of our college runs under the guidance of JNTU where all the fundamentals such as DSA ,program,data base and CN also core math are given in this college divides the conceptual,lessons in 5 units .for each unit we have submit assignment unit test and also an ALP which is concentrated on learning ,mechanisam which help student revise the concept in class itself.In terms of real world the curriculum builds the theoritical, knowledge but somewhat limited exposure where students should have get internships for an industry level experience or else atleast a entry level jobs help the students to learn as well.Area of improvement include more hands- on project works and more interactive teaching methods Like case studies and problem ,based, learning. Exams are regularly for 2 mid term for semester and one end semester exam.the difficulty level is moderate and manageable with consistent and study and focusing more on understanding concepts rather than rote learning

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester itself students are eligible for placement drives if they pay for the placement training classes , internship drives start from 5th semester and training classes go on for students every week , from 7th semester drives on different job roles start and the placed percentage of students right now is about 30 to 40 percent and drives are still going on but correct training and correct opportunities more needs to be provided

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very Passionate about Computer Science. So I joined Information Technology which is the same as CSE. Information technology mostly offers the same opportunities as CSE in VNRVJIET. So, I preferred IT in VNRVJIET. In VNRVJIET, Hyderabad faculty: student ratio is approx 1:40 which is considered as Average ratio. Most of the Faculty are PHD Graduates but there are less number of Professors. Mostly there are Assistant Professors whose Teaching Methodology is average to Good but not rated as Better in terms of Teaching. Professors are good at Teaching but Some Assistant Professors are not as good as we expected. There are mostly newly joined PHD faculty members were there who will teach in a slow manner. Every 5-6 months we have Semester Exams which are mostly easy to pass if we have somewhat knowledge of the subject.

A brief information about Neil gogte institute of technology

I kept and gave more importance to this college while keeping the councilling. I also tried to some of the more great colleges but my bad luck I didn't get in those but this is the best college Ive ever seen and I did my experience from past 2 months. Yes ofcourse I've got rejected in the councelling from other colleges . Admission process will be like we keep councelling after eamcet and the selected will gat gathered towards the bavishya dhwar for certificate verification. The Good, The Bad, The ugly of NGIT

I applied for KMIT which also owned by same owner has same structure in acadaemics. only difference is the quality of students. i didnt get enough rank to get into kmit. so joined NGIT. and the main reason for these colleges only is the coding culture . which helps in getting better placements. and the cutoffs are less than 14k in EAMCET for GEN-OC and less than 30k for BC. you can join via EAMCET or management....Read More
