Honest Internship Review

My course is Electrical and Electronics Engineering, due to my interests in machines and power electronic devices i chose this field. The faculty is very supportive and kind. The ratio is not that even 7:3. Most of the faculty is either Phd passout or pursuing their Phd degree. The exams are on time and dfficulty level is medium.

There were few companies for the internship role, mostly were for the full time roles, some of the companies were Adobe, Collegedunia, Saggious etc. The roles offered were product analyst, patent analyst, software developer intern. The stipend ranged from 15000 to 40000 per month.

The placements are average not the best, students from 4th semester are eligible for internship opportunities and from 6th semester for full time job roles. Some big companies like DE Shaw, Polestar, ZS associates, TATA power, Yamaha visited the campus for significant number of openings. 70-80% of students gets placed with the minimum and maximum packages of 3 lakhs to 13 lacks.

There is no such policy. Scholarships are considered which are approved by the government, for the reservation classes and for the below poverty line people most of the fees is reimbersed. I got placed in collegedunia as an intern which is a paid internship.

Life is good and simple, attendence is not a big issue in the campus, campus lacks in motivation and awareness for the students. There is an Annual fest organised by the faculty and students. The library is huge and very well stuffed. The classroom lacks in Air conditioners but the seating and ventilation is good. There are multiple clubs for student interactions and co-cirricular activites.

The admissions are based on the JEE Mains rank, which is an entrance exam. The admission process falls under the GGSIPU university where multiple cutoff lists are marked and based on the cutoff and the availed rank one can select their dream course. Fee structure and other details are mentioned clearly on the college website. There are reservations and benefits for the eligibles. The admission process was smooth and hustle free.
