Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I wanted to pursue Engineering as i was interested in electrical branch. The reviews of the college were pretty good with good placement information. The female students are pretty low but the faculty and environment is goog and helpful

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are some internships oppotunties. Some really good companies offer the internships at very good stipened. This year this has been low may be due to recession. But the skills and knowledge matters the most. always try to brush your skills up.One has to make major and minor project in the last year.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement rates have been average. It is always better to try offcampus placements. Try wokring on yourself get good skills and you can achieve many opportunities. Good companoes also visited the college like DE shaw, Amazon, Atlassian that offers high package. The other option is that you can always opt for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

As per me i didnt recieve any scolarship from the college. There are not many opportunities for that. The lost of engineering is 6l for 4 years. the job assitance is not good but if you are hardworking enough you might get good opportunities. When you achieve some good price in some competetions then college is pretty generous with that.

Campus Life

3.5

Itis important to make good friends in the college and try to get into the good clubs. Interacting is the key to achieve something. Try to network with the seniors they are pretty helpful. We have 2 college fests that takes place on pretty small scale. Books are available from the library every semester. The desks are good but no ac in most of the buildings and department. Annual sports day also takes place which is fun. There are many societies for drama literature debating quizzes music everything. Try getting into them they give great exposure.

Admission

As a engineering student its mandate to give JEE to get admission in engineering colleges. The eligiblity of the course was minimum75% in PCM of 12th and good rank in JEE. Then we have to apply for Ipu list and the link of that form will be recieved online. There was a minimal fees for that process where you can fill your wanted branch and the college name(it should be amoung the IPU colleges only, if you are looking for that). If you get the college it will be shown there. There are few list that are taken out but fill itwisely. All the best!

Students who have completed there 4 sem are eligible to sit in campus placements to secure 2month summer internship and students who have completed there 6th sem are eligible to sit in campus placements to secure 6 month internship along with ppo or fulltime or direct fulltime opportunities. Around 70-80% students gets placed in tech branches and around 50-70% gets placed in core branches. My plan after degree are to join a fulltime offer.

The placement of my college is decent enough. If you are from Tech and circutial branches you can expect package ranging around 12-30lpa, and other than this you can expect somewhere between 8-15lpa for other branches. Overall the placement is quite good.
