Life at MDI-M

I chose the PGDM as it is the flagship course, and is affiliated by several organisations. Not certain about faculty:student ratio. Teaching is good, not just in class but also you can go in their cabin anytime to clarify doubts. Passing exams is not very tough, as there is a percentage breakdown between assignments, presentations, and exams. Exams are always conducted timely.

Several companies at campus arrive. Pretty tough to name them all. But yes the roles offered add alot of value to everyone CV. The experience is rich if you can groom your cv well, final placement will be beneficial from it.

We have trimester. So students can sit for placement after 3rd semester. Various companies like TATA AIG, ICICI BANK, AXIS BANK and other big names. Over 50 companies visit our campus. Everyone gets placed by the month of January To do the job

There is a salary cap of the companies that visit the campus for final placement. I am offered the role of "management trainee" at finoability with a stipend of ?10000. Total fees of 2 years is ?14.5 lakh which includes hostel fees, tuition fees and everything, also loan procedure is pretty easy.

Annual tech fest is named campxotica which is conducted at national level. There are thousands of books in library. A classroom accomodates around 60 students, so the faculty uses a mic, we have two screens for presentations and a white board. Post dinner everyday a lot of different sports are played across the campus.

Every essential facility is provided. Since i am provided single room, there is a common room, we have washing machine at each floor, wifi works provide 4MB/s speed. Meal is great, thankfully living in college campus and having their food doesnt feel like prison food. Rooms are alloted at random basis but you can request for change. The programme is residential so it is mandatory to live in campus.

Got into MDIM-M through CAT. To get into this college there was no GD but a long PI. My PI lasted about 40 minutes. Interviewer asked everything about my certification, academics and extra curricular activities. Good thing is that they listened to my every point and considered my non-academic achievement.

There was only personal interview and just one round of it. Topic ranged from my certification to my past acads to my extra curricular activities to my hobbies. The process is simple, fill the college's form before/after CAT. If shortlisted you will get the slot timing and link. For preparation, i scanned my cv so to guess the question that could be arised in the interview.
