Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because it demands a lot of respect among the society and we can also work for the benefit of the people and also interact with people. Faculty student ratio is quiet decent here with about 1 faculty for every 25 students. Faculties here are very highly qualified with many of them having degrees from internationally reputed institutions. There are namely three internal exams in one year and a university exam at the end. The internal exams are quite easy to Pass worn the university being The easiest.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees in government medical colleges in kerala are pretty decent! It comes to around 40,000 if you take hostel facility. It's drastically low compared to the private colleges here. There are various scholarship opportunities for students for which information are given periodically by the college authorities.

Campus Life

4.5

The college is very active throughout the year with annual Fests like the college day, union inauguration and all being held very grand. Famous artists and all come to perform here regularly. The library is very big and vast with all the facilities and books and all the journals open to read for free for everyone. The classrooms are fully technologically equipped with smart boards and all. There are a lot of clubs in the college which are all very active throughout the year. For sports and arts we have a lot of competitions including intra batch, interbatch, north zone interzone and interuniversitt competitions!

Admission

The entrance exam for the course is NEET UG exam. You have to Pass plus two with science stream in order to be eligible for writing NEET ug. The application form and all the information regarding the course and entrance are available in the NMC official website. I have availed ncc quota reservation which is a state quota. The admission process can be improved by adding more government seats to dilute the competiton which is increasing.

So, in order to get admitted, one needs to be either 17 or more in age. It holds some general basic necessities that all colleges demand like (10+2) cbse or equivalent exam degree. And you need to score more than 50% aggregate in PCB / Biotech combined. For admission in UG courses, candidates can apply through their NEET UG medical scorecard. Aspirants need to clear the stated cutoff percentile in order to qualify. Candidates can check the expected cutoff percentile in the year of examination in order to prepare accordingly for their respective categories( general, SC/ST, OBC). A candidate can visit the official portal of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala to get themselves registered for NEET 2020 Kerala State Counselling.
