During ojee counseling I got mechanical engineering course so you can't change the given course by government of odisha in ojee counseling.you have to pursue the course whatever you get in the counseling.in my branch all the teachers are well trained and provides best study environment during the lab and class hrs. Almost every teachers are PhD and mtech qualified.two semester exams held every year and two internals conducted in one semester

Students are getting internship in their 2nd and 3rd year of college. And for placement purpose one need to atleast complete one internship in offline mode. Students are completing their internship from HAL, ISRO,rspl,BSNL nalco Tata etc.

The placement is good here since it's a government approved institution and have fame in odisha. Students are placed in different companies like Tata,Jindal,jsw, adani, luminous,Indian oil etc.. Last year more than 450 offers made and the placement percentage was 80%+

In my course mechanical engineering it's considered to be the core branch so we have to pay 28,700 per year and even semester registration fees is 1700. Students are getting scholarship from different sources like state and central government.

The campus life is quite good and the campus is far away from the city area so campus is filled with greenery. In igit lots of fest are happened every year. Horizon is the techno cultural fest . There is a huge library present in the campus in which more than 1lakh books are available. Many student clubs are there to nourish the young brains.

In IGIT there are 6 boys hostel and 2 girls hostels present which is inside the college campus area. In every hostel free wifi connection are there for students. The food served here is good and hygiene. Students also can accommodate in the pg which are very near to the campus area.

The admission is done through jee score or ojee score.For my course mechanical engineering one need to secure atleast a rank of 400000 in jee mains CRL rank. You can find the application form In the NTA website during the registration of jee mains. Ward belongs to sc/St or ex-servicemen categories are getting reservation benefits and handicapped students also getting reservation.
