Honest review of IGIT

I didn't choose the course but the course choose me .I am telling this because we applied in ojee counseling since it's a government approved institute.i get into this course by securing 2,10,103 CRL rank in jee mains.Here all the faculty members and PhD qualified and have a tag of different IIT and nit. There are two semester exams in a year and between one semester there are two internal exams.

The placement here is decent. every year more than 450 offers are given to students. Placements of electrical, etc and cse is quite good as compared to other branches. Highest package offered was 12,00,000 and average package was 5,50,000 for last year.. companies like Cisco, luminous,AM/NS India, Amazon,tata,TCS, Deloitte, Capgemini, Accenture and many more companies visit the campus for recruitment.

The academic fee per year for my course is 73,600 since it's a self sustaining course but for core branches it's 29,500 . students gets a lot of scholarship from odisha government and Central govt.govt. provides fee assistance to needy one. scholarship like technical and professional and post matric etc are available for students.

Life at campus is just wow but one cons is here the pollution is little more because the college is situated near Talcher and talcher is known as the city of black diamond due to the coal reservoir. Horizon is the annual techno-cultural fest and is known to be the one of greatest fest of eastern India. Sports fest also happens every year and it is named as utshahan. The Library is huge and more than 1,10,000 books are available. smart classrooms are here to nourish the young minds.

There are 6 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel in the campus premises. Generators are there to give 24/7 facility of electricity and the hostels are fully covered with free wifi. The foods served here also kinda good. Everyday you can find the option for both non veg and veg except on Mondays. There are lots of pg available nearby college campus.

Admission is done through jee mains and ojee score.for my course in igit one need to get atleast a CRL rank of 2,50,000 jee mains rank.The application form can someone find at NTA website during their form opening time.many students get reservation benefits due to categories like sc,st and if someone belongs to ex servicemen personnel there there is also reservation.
