What Students Say

Likes

We have open gate i.e no one will stop you at gate you can exit any time .
Infrastructure is good i.e classrooms are good.
Greener campus. Have a big playground fo sports and indoor games too.

Dislikes

Placements are not at the level they says .
Canteen is very small . It can accomodate about 500 members.
No cultural fests. No freshers party . Rarely a event for a year but in very small level.

The It course is most demanding after cse . Teacher to Student ratio is about 1:60 approx.Maximum all facaluty did there Postgraduatiin.The faculty teaching is just ok,if you listen properly classes you can easily passout all exams.

Students from 5th sem are eligible for placements . Companies visited are companies which hire bulk eg amazon,tcs,etc.This year highest till date is 6lpa.studet percentage placed is very very low i.e 20%. My plan is to go for masters abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for each branch is 135000rs (for students through eamcet).for students through eamcet have 35k rs fee reimbursement from government everyyear irrespective of rank.campus jobs are so good and this is year it's worst due to recession.

Campus Life

There are no fest .But campus has open gate. There is no freshers party,there is rarely at fests and they are in very small scale . Whereas infrastructure is ok.we can find books in library pertaining to our courses and journouls and magazines too . There is no AC in classrooms. There is a big ground in campus . There are clubs . Waste of time .

Admission

I wrote eamcet exam. Eligibility is must have completed 12th with maths subject must. After eamcet we have to do all process of eamcet which is release by government. There is reservation benefits for SC,ST,OBC.

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum of our college runs under the guidance of JNTU where all the fundamentals such as DSA ,program,data base and CN also core math are given in this college divides the conceptual,lessons in 5 units .for each unit we have submit assignment unit test and also an ALP which is concentrated on learning ,mechanisam which help student revise the concept in class itself.In terms of real world the curriculum builds the theoritical, knowledge but somewhat limited exposure where students should have get internships for an industry level experience or else atleast a entry level jobs help the students to learn as well.Area of improvement include more hands- on project works and more interactive teaching methods Like case studies and problem ,based, learning. Exams are regularly for 2 mid term for semester and one end semester exam.the difficulty level is moderate and manageable with consistent and study and focusing more on understanding concepts rather than rote learning

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester itself students are eligible for placement drives if they pay for the placement training classes , internship drives start from 5th semester and training classes go on for students every week , from 7th semester drives on different job roles start and the placed percentage of students right now is about 30 to 40 percent and drives are still going on but correct training and correct opportunities more needs to be provided

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very Passionate about Computer Science. So I joined Information Technology which is the same as CSE. Information technology mostly offers the same opportunities as CSE in VNRVJIET. So, I preferred IT in VNRVJIET. In VNRVJIET, Hyderabad faculty: student ratio is approx 1:40 which is considered as Average ratio. Most of the Faculty are PHD Graduates but there are less number of Professors. Mostly there are Assistant Professors whose Teaching Methodology is average to Good but not rated as Better in terms of Teaching. Professors are good at Teaching but Some Assistant Professors are not as good as we expected. There are mostly newly joined PHD faculty members were there who will teach in a slow manner. Every 5-6 months we have Semester Exams which are mostly easy to pass if we have somewhat knowledge of the subject.

There is no specific reason , the teachers were good and academics are good, proper maintenance all the time . And the college away from the city so there is not much chaos , but most of the people live in city , they feel exhausted .
